Shoutbox's..

Ok so I have installed/tried EVERY shoutbox I could find on here that would work. Either they got stuck on "Loading.." or they hosed my server resources BAD. So I'm lost as to what my options are here. It is possible to host one of these shoutbox's remotely? I mean seriously these shoutbox's are causing server loads as high as 29.65

If that's the case, and none of the shoutboxes are loading properly for you, then you likely have a problem on the server end. You may want to consider looking for a new host if a shoutbox is something you're really needing.

I own the server.. it's my own dedicated that is colo. Cyb was the worst of the bunch. Anything under a 10 second refresh murdered the server.

Shoutboxes are per definition resource heavy, some more then others.

I think there is one called Add On Chat (or something like that), that is hosted remotely. That may be an option for you. Or IRC can also be also hosted remotely.
