Hii..

I have seen mod authors usually place a copyright link at the footer of their mod page. Sometimes they are quite easily removable via the template.

I wanted to know how does Template Modification System (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=152931) achieves this thing, its really hard to make out how the copyright is placed, infact i just could not figure it out.

Any ideas how to achieve something similar?

thanks

If I told you, it wouldn't be hard to remove, would it? ;) I just had a look at TMS, and removing the copyright looks pretty easy to me...

ofcourse its easy, but just for you :D

Isn't it done via some queries i think, not through simple template edit. even vBCredits (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=172399&highlight=vbcredits) has some different way of achieving that.

Btw, if its easy as you said, then what is the hard way?

Sir! please tell me, i won't tell anyone, i swear. you can PM me please.

If you need to remove the copyright of a modification, please contact the author for instructions. Removing copyright without the permission of the author is not acceptable.

Closing thread. If more discussion is needed, then please do so in the thread of the modification in question.
