php editor

i am having problems once again with my config file giving bother after editing and uploading.

WHats the best php edotor to use, i found one before than i had no problems with but my forum is crashed due to not being able to connect ot the mysql database once again!

Do you just want an editor, or the whole IDE stuff as well?
