Looking to uninstall some old hacks and cannot remember what file to edit to remove them from the admin control panel left menu. Can anyone help? I looked in index.php but did not find it.

Thanks!

And more specific the cpnav_*.xml files.

You guys are smarter than me. I don't see where to edit a file that will allow me to get rid of nonworking hack menus.

Which file is it again?

you shouldn't need to edit the file. You should simply remove the cpnav_FILENAME.xml files to get rid of the options

*You'll need to press F5 to refresh the window and see that its gone.

Told you that you guys were smarter, that rocked it. Now, where can I find the file for the vbulletin options inside admin cp? I need to clean up that also...

Thanks in advance!

if your are talking about things like bitfields (settings in usergroups etc etc) then they are still in the xml folder but under bitfield_*.xml

The options in the Admin CP should have been removed if you uninstalled the modification from the Admin CP.

I did, it didn't, but this board has been running since vBulletin v 2.0 or thereabouts.

When you press "vBulletin options" under "vBulletin options" in the admin CP, where is the file that controls the menu that I see in the main pane. Sorry guys, but I really don't want to mess up by guessing.

Thanks again!

There would have been an uninstallation script or uninstallation intructions that came with pre-3.5 modifications.
