how has vb.org got there footer...

Can any please tell me how vb.org have got their footer right at the bottom of the page, without a white space underneath it?

Try removing any <br />s left at the bottom of your footer template.

Also if you haven't already done so, AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Main CSS > For the body selector (its the first one) make sure you have margin:0; set (default is something like margin:5px 0; or something).
