Alright, pretty simple idea but I think it should be useful to many people.
See screenshot.
Download XML and upload as a product!
This is my first mod so there may be some things that were done different than usual but it works so that's always good :)
Don't forget to click install!

I always thought the admin notes should be shared by default. However having it like this could be more useful. Thanks.

Glad you guys like it.
I was originally going to make the admin notes be completely sharable (i.e. remove the private ones) but not only did I not manage to do that (couldn't figure out how to do it without editing code) but I think the end result with BOTH is ultimately better than just one.

I might suggest changing the phrase for the other one to "Personal Administrator Notes" or something, so that it's not so easily confused.

(And this explains why no one replied to my greetings... and here I thought they just didn't like me...)

I'm in the group who thought the Admin note was a shared file... LoL.
Anyway, does this serve better than just having a seperated 'admin only' subforum?
It's a good idea, don't get me wrong, I like it - But i'm not sure how it benefits..?

On my board the Administrator Notes are indeed shared already. I need a mod for personal notes.

oops... I guess they are not shared! When I logged in as another administrator using the "Login as another user" hack, I could see them, but that must carry me back to my own admincp, not theirs. When I logged in as my test admin user, I could not see the notes.

Legit question.
I made it specifically for a small forum I am an admin for (not the one I own) which doesn't have an admin forum. It's got a bunch of private forums but no admin forum and frankly there's not really a need for one.
In my experience admin forums are more for discussing pros and cons of situations, possible additions to the forums (+ pros/cons etc.).
They are for DISCUSSIONS that only admins should be weighing in on. These admin notes are meant more as "to do" lists and as a quick way to share things with admins that don't really need to be discussed in an admin forum.
They're separate? I've had a to do list in there for ages, no wonder nothing ever gets done, nobody else can see it!
Good idea batman!
Installed :)

Thanks, with what you've explained - it makes good sense. This mod acts as a 'to do list' rather than a 'lets discuss list'. Nice idea.

How can I make this display the most recent notes on top, instead of having to scroll to the bottom of the box.

I think that would be impossible.
Unless of course you have your admins add new notes over rather than under the old note(s).
Sorry!
