View Full Version : New Posting Features - Users on ignore list cannot reply to thread

If a user is on the thread starters ignore list, that user cannot reply to the thread, or quickreply. This of course is bypassed by moderators and admins.

Really, that is all there is to it.

Install the product file via the admincp and you are all set.

You may also want to use in conjunction with this product:

Nice - Just installed but haven't checked it out in real life yet.

Cool option would be integration with vBbux to charge users for it!

yes.. this would be cool if you could apply permissions and only allow subscribers to use this feature! Is it permission based? (I've not downloaded yet)

It is not permission based at this time.

This is an awsome product. It's a common problem i have on my boards and I always thought ignore list banned from threads.
Thats what I used to tell my users to do anyway when they complained about abusive postings lol and now it will happen

I have been using this for some time and my users love it. Today however we found out it doesn't work with users visiting the site via "Tapatalk" (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=208412) - they can post in a thread even if this mod should block them. I posted this fact in their forum too but would be great if a solution can be found.

I'm pretty sure no mod like this will work with Tapatalk because Tapatalk doesn't call any of the needed "hooks." This is really something that has to be fixed by Tapatalk more-so than the individual mods.
