What Software Is:
Donation System LITE process', monitors, records donation payments. Donation System LITE will allow site Admins full control over their donations, with the ability to track monthly or yearly goals and perform multiple searches from your admincp. Upgrading from before series 1
Load Software then transfer donations from OLD version to NEW then delete old software. So install the new version 1.0.0 and go to adminCP>AWCoding Software LITE>Transactions>Transfer>AWCoding> DONE! Then delete previous series of LITE and all files associated with it.

Make sure transactions transferred over before deleting old version. Again this is a new series so it does not interfere and is a totally new system then the old.

NOTE: Donation System LITE and Credit Purchase System LITE use the same AWCoding Back-End LITE. So if you have both mods installed and want to uninstall one of them just disable the one you don't want instead of uninstalling. OR you can uninstall then run the XML of the software you want to keep to bring back the AWCoding Back-End LITE. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

V2 is totally separate and independent from V1. They will not conflict at ALL. So leave old V1 installed and install V2. Then transfer over the donations from V1 and any settings you want. Then you can remove V1.

Looks like it tried to merge as it now has the Import Donations from V1, which I tried to do and it told me that they had been imported, however went to show all payments and it said there were none.

I did refresh the Admin CP, and re-upload all files. Still did not work. Running 3.7 RC 2

YEP it was the DSCMPS LITE integration one sec need to update LITE. PRO already had this fix sorry about this guys!!!

You will NOT get any notifications when manually adding. That is a PRO feature which also allows to update there donation time and update there usergroup.

Now if your not manually adding but doing a test payment through sandbox? Cause sending a payment to yourself will be blocked through paypal so please be as specific as possible. Also helps to send me URL so I can take a look.

FIXED: Issue with previous V1 users upgrading to V2. I accidentally had the same group # in the XML for admin NAV which was causing the merger. V1 is 104 and V2 is now 106 which solves the issue. Also in the transfer of donations I accidentally had PRO ds condition and not dsl LITE condition for transfer it is all fixed now so re-download.

Do you mean AUTO confirm payments through IPN? NO that is a PRO feature ONLY. BUT it does have my NON-IPN system which WILL confirm payments AUTO if they click the link back to your site. Meaning Turn OFF redirect to new tab/window and make sure in paypal you do NOT have an auto redirect back to your site on (Make sure it is OFF). This will techinically force people to click it and auto confirm everything and send out PMs for you. Other wise you need to manually confirm donations but it is one click and done.

It was removed for a multitude of reasons for LITE. I will add it back in next LITE update. Sorry for inconvenience.

If anyone has MKPORTAL on there site they will need the below fix.

At the very top of AWCoding- Donation System LITE PLUGIN menu/bar. There is a if statement that says:
if (substr(THIS_SCRIPT,-6,6)!="verify"){
Now I had to add to this a conditional for your portal add-on which was causing all the issues. I had to add:
IN_MKP!=1
So the final outcome of the clause is:
if (substr(THIS_SCRIPT,-6,6)!="verify" && IN_MKP!=1){

Your site works fine now please delete the temp admin account and let me know if you have any other issues.

It didn't add the user to my donors usergroup though. After he paid I went and manually did Confirm on that pending payment. I checked that I have the usergroup ID correct and that it's enabled, it was set up properly (I believe) before I did confirm, but it didn't add him, any ideas?

Yes LITE does not have this feature. When manually confirming OR Manual adding it does NOT send out notification, update donation time, or change usergroup. I will think about adding it in next release of LITE for you guys. As I think it should be there.

Thought about it and adding it now will release as a new version a long with all the small fixes I had to do at the start. Will release it today.

There is an issue with usernames if you put someones name with a character in it ' /~` etc. I will fix that tomorrow in next release. Try to use userid always and there will never be an issue.

Go to AdminCP and go to Bar Settings and change Monthly to Yearly.

Need to be a lot more specific. Are you talking about drop down menu? Donation Bar? What do you have selected to yes.

Nobody has asked that about the select currency. The payment methods ALWAYS convert the currency anyways. If they selected it would throw off some things. This will NOT be in LITE version but will add it to PRO next release.

If you just want it on donation page put:
awc_ds

and remove index,forum

Please recheck all your settings in admincp if your using vbadvance make sure the global variables got added.
What version were you using before upgrade?

EDIT: Check your settings for showing bar make sure that you have forum,index for page to display

The update did NOT effect donation bar except the fact you can choose monthly or yearly. The Global scope of variable DS changed to DSL which may have caused your issue if you did NOT override ALL FILES.

Just tested on your site. You have some type of caching system or something else going on. The plugins and templates are NOT updating. Even when we tried to delete the software and reload. It STILL showed old version. So this is a site issue not a software issue. I have tested this latest version on over 10 sites with multiple version of VB and without a hitch. So hit me up again when you have more time and I can help trouble shoot more. Please look into a Xcache type software you may have installed or something to that extent that might cache templates.

Would need to clear it out before reinstalling so it caches the latest version with the DSL change.

There is no equal in terms of a donation system and the flexability this modification gives you. Couple that with an unparalled support and a developer who truely listens, decided to purchaes the PRO version and can easily say I am more then pleased. Looking foward to some of the other plugin modules that integrate with this as well.

I will try to figure out why LITE version checker is not working right now as well as make a nice update :)

I have not changed anything with version checker info since V1 which worked so VB may have changed something the URL path for 3.7 mods or something I will figure it out.

Naw I fixed it. I just used an external path to my site to get the product ID. I figured out issue with why it wasn't working but issue is I have two threads 3.6 and 3.7 that is same product and needs to get same version check info. But issue is product ID is same so can't do it. So I just used an external one which works much better and rules out any issues that may arise. So now both threads or products 3.6 and 3.7 pull version check info from same place BUT have separate links to go back to specified thread 3.6 or 3.7 respectably.

PRO is getting about 10+ payment processing systems including all the VB internals ones (example: authorize.net, moneybookers, ccbill, etc.). Also getting a mail in payment system as well as bank transfer system.

First of all, thanks for the plugin!

Secondly, my donation bar is behaving oddly. When the Goal Cycle is set to "yearly", it seems to add up ALL previous donations (even those that were made in 2005). When it's set to "monthly", it includes donations that were made last month.

Since noone else is complaining about this, I'm going to assume I missed a setting or something. Could you please help me correct it?

What donation system where you using before? Did you import the previous donations with admincp option in donation lite or did you add the donations to the table manually

Everything is perfect now. Something was fishy with his setup and pulling the Vbulletin setting values. Just manually did sql into mysql and everything is cool and works perfect. Never have had this report of this error so if anyone else gets it let me know so I can try to find a commen theme between you two and find root of issue. But again seems like a fluke server thing.

I just want to assure anybody reading this thread that the AWCoding stuff is well worth installing :up:

The Lite products are very good and the Pro versions are awesome.

As Im sure you all know the most important thing about any code is the support team behind it. From personal experience I'd give the AWC guys 10/10 as they helped me fix a minor issue very quickly :up: (The problem was actualy my lack of knowledge).

Shouldn't be getting that error any way you look at it so was some conflict with something. I have core checks to make things full or rounded numbers 0 so errors like that will never happen.

How is it showing all years? Did you edit my code. It explicitly has a month/year for list which is based off goal. You have edited my code not cool to edit and ask support for an issue you may have caused.

ONLY PRO has a forever for list and a LOT more features. Which I know you don't have by looking at site.

Please reload software and start back at scratch then manually add donations. Then try making the edits for forever if that is what you choose. But if I was anyone I would NOT edit any of the LITE and ask me to help do small things or get PRO which has 10x more stuff then you can ask for.

Your also on V0.2.0 and NOT latest V0.2.1.

Please delete completely off server and reload latest version.

This will work on it's own!!

This is the best donation system out there. It does everything for you. It keeps records and stats of donations for your site and will automatically renew it's goal at the beginning of the month based on a value set by the admin.

LITE is a teaser, PRO is the real deal just FYI with now 4x the features and can go on and on. LITE is only designed for you to get some donations enough to get PRO. PRO is the powerful software that goes way beyond what you have thought of.

Now to you wanting it to be on donation page and donation list just add: awc_dsl
To this setting:
Auto Insert Donation bar below Navbar on these comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations Leave blank to auto insert donation bar below navbar on all pages.

And have the option above it ON. Easy as 1 2 3 :)

Again I made this as customizable as possible for you guys. So if you have custom themes or want to place somewhere else you can. But by default settings it works for 90% of the people.

You will have to customize the hook per your style in the plugin bar/menu for the software to match your style. Default works for 90% of styles the other people have to customize this to work. This is with any software you can never code for 100% of the styles or situations just impossible. So the people with custom have to customize it to fit. If you need help hit me up in chatbox on www.allwheelcoding.com and I can help you further. All you have to do is view source on your website and see the structure for navbar and match the same structure to the hook.

Never type <br> it is <br /> just FYI. Now it has a float and non float setting. To auto do the <br /> all you do is set float to ON. I already coded that into software :). Now you wanting to merge all that stuff into the bar it is possible but beyond scope of the software. Meaning you are hacking my software and I can not support. But real easy to put that stuff within bar but when you upgrade software it will delete all those template edits you did. So keep that in mind and remember what you did before to make it happen :).

It will take me 30 seconds to make the edit hit me up and I can do it for you. Will be easier then giving you the code and telling you where to put it cause it is kinda long and may not be able to use hook and have to manually add variable depending on a few things so better I just do it for you.

Yeah the PM is fixed, version checker, and google checkout is added (PRO feature) and maybe some other things.

LITE IS NOTHING LIKE PRO. LITE is a tease to earn you the money to get PRO. PRO is where all the good stuff is and where the real money starts rolling in from donations and where you sit back and just enjoy and do nothing.

Has to do with donation bar reset TIME and if you have VB subscriptions added to bar. Look in bar settings for all that info.

* Also when he donated he should have switched to a Donator (new user rank with image) but it hasn't moved.

It does it automatically. Did the donation to you recieved get posted to paypal? If it is unconfirmed it probably did not get processed by paypal.

Vbulletin Subscription Amounts Added to goal total
It only will show information for subscriptions on donation bar.
There will be a future release of a paid subscription mod totally seperate from the Vb standard that will have similar options to the donation mod plus much more.

LITE has a built in confirmation system but users HAVE to click back to your site for it to work. So TURN OFF redirect in MAIN SETTINGS and you should be fine and it will auto confirm for you etc.

The totals from VBsub can be added to donation bar but as far as a payment system. I have Subscription System coming soon. Please be patient. Releasing V3 of PRO real soon then will get a new V2 update for LITE then on to Subscription System then Product System and CART system etc.. So stay tuned.

Your talking about a GOAL system. Yes V3 of Donation System PRO will have a Goal system. LITE will not.

Explained many times in this thread. It is your settings. Make sure you have your ID set to receive the NEW donation Pm as well as set up rest of the options in notifications. Now I am going to remove the Option in LITE to redirect to new window to stop some of these issues and kinda force the user to click and redirect back. But here is the thing:

If a user after a payment confirmation page from paypal clicks on the redirect back to site (your site) it will auto confirm the payment and send all notifications out and complete the payment process. NOW if the user does NOT click on the redirect and closes window or what have you. The payment will NOT be auto confirmed and send out notifications etc etc. This is ONLY ONLY a LITE thing. AS LITE does NOT have IPN/API like PRO does. So in PRO everything is auto you do NOTHING and just sit back and collect donations. So those that say unconfirmed that is because they did NOT click redirect back. SO you should check paypal and make sure payment went through then click CONFIRMED and done :). Again PRO you don't need to do this all auto no matter what.

It has nothing to do with that has to do with the value $condition. That software is using it and it is conflicting with mine. So basically word to the wise Vbadvanced, timeslips, and few others DO NOT USE THE VALUE $condition. Change them all to $vba_condition, $ts_condition, etc etc. Cause this causes issues with not only other mods but VB itself who uses the value as well. PRO software does not have this value and set to $awc_condition. I guess I forgot to do it on LITE version. I will fix this in next release of LITE. For a temporary fix you have to go through entire files and search for $condition and change too $awc_condition. Sorry for inconvenience will have a new release of lite soon. Your talking about a GOAL system. Yes V3 of Donation System PRO will have a Goal system. LITE will not.

By "will have" I assume this is not something currently available? If not, when?

I'd really like this goal system. We need it.. and we need it now ;)

supposed to be dsl on all those values was my bad with LITE vs PRO just change them to dsl and your all good.

:) Thanks man spread the word. PRO is insane you guys should really look at it. I haven't updated compare LITE vs PRO page since V1 so you can imagine we are past V2 now and on to V3 of PRO. Yeah that wont happen till V3 is out. Will be released to current Purchasers first then released public to purchase at that time I will update all the site stuff. It is all WAY out of date and new V3 is completely different.

hey awjunkies, i sure hate to bother you but i have a question........

I don't use vbadvanced as my portal page, i use vbportals. I have been trying to figure out how to get the donation bar to work on my portal page and i am having a little trouble. When i try to build the code with html, i can get it to show, but it won't update unless i do it manually. Is there an easy way (in your opinion) to get this option to work on vbportals software. I know i have to figure out which template to use and then build a box on my portals, but i am kind of stumped right now and i also didn't want you to get upset if you happened by my site and saw that i had built a box for my portal......Any help would be greatly appreciated...

oh, not sure if you have ever worked with vbportals, but it is alot different then cmps....It is kind of easy to work with, but it takes alot of testing to get things to function right.......

go to:
AdminCP>vBa CMPS>Default Settings>Main Options>Portal Output Global Variables> Change all the ds_ to dsl_ then save page. I accidentally put PRO variables and not LITE variables. Then you can use the $dsl_bar within CMPS pages place it anywhere you want within templates/pages etc. As for normal forum below chatbox I can not see the chatbox. BUT if it works off hooking with the navigation bar all you have to do is go to the plugin that executes the parse_template for my software OR chatbox. And change Execution Order # to higher then 5 so it goes after or set to 4 for before the other executions of parse_template. If you need more direction on that let me know. Now to add the bar on all Donation System LITE pages add awc_dsl to the THIS_SCRIPT locations.

Modules like I have for CMPS (sidebar and centerbar) are ONLY PRO features. So if I was to add a VBportals or Mkportal modules it would be PRO only features. Sorry. So if you want to contact me on the site I can make them after V3 is released and get them out to you guys.

Is there anyway that this could be made so that users can select multiple currencies to donate in such as a drop down menu to select either dollars or pound sterling. Often people do not know the conversion between dollars us or aus to pound sterling and vice versa. I wOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO SELECT SAY FROM A DROP DOWN MENU WHETHER TO DONATE IN POUND STERLING £ or dollars $ US or Aus or in euros etc. Is this possible?

PRO edition has 2 different images, Donate Now text, and allows for a custom one that you can create to anything you want.

I can have it show a conversion table or a link to conversion page. Not sure about having the user select cause it makes no difference the payment method will convert it auto. So makes no difference what they select. Wait I kinda see what you want for someone to pay in Pounds 10 and not 10 USD so that the actual amount going in is 18 USD etc. You don't really want a conversion to send 10 USD from Pounds which would be like 6 Pounds or something. This example is if website owners payment method account is in USD.

This would be a PRO only feature and will ad it in later release of V3

ok it's a new month. Why is May still showing for members that donated? lol I just had a member donate and the bar didn't change. I had to add it manually. Also I got no PM of the new donation. Help if you can!

AdminCP>Donation System LITE>Bar Settings>Donation Goal Cycle time

Make sure this is set to MONTHLY and not YEARLY :). This effects the donation list and goal bar. As for the donation it HAD to add it manually to the system as for auto confirm the user still could have closed the window and not clicked link back and opened a new window to access your site again. This would cause you to have to confirm the payment manually.

9/10 times it is user error and not software if it worked perfect in the past month no way for code to just change :). So make sure to check settings and make a test payment yourself through paypal sandbox if you think it is not working right.

You need to turn OFF auto redirect to your site in paypal. You must have that OFF! That goes for everyone you have to have Auto Redirect OFF.

PRO has awards system LITE does not.

This is a full version LITE if that is what your referring too. None of that Xed out stuff saying have to purchase pro to get this feature no teases or hidden things in LITE. I do not do software that way. LITE is coded COMPLETELY different from PRO. They are not even of the same core code. PRO has I would say close to 300+ more features or changes in core.
