Ive just received two donations.

One came through and sent the PM to me and the donater, however the second one didnt. I only found out by receiving an email from paypal.

The second donation isnt showing in the donation list either?

Adam, i have changed my forum structure and now have www.thecodecage.com as the cmps instead of www.thecodecage.com/forumz and the forum is now /forumz, now that i have done this if i click the donate now button i get a popup saying it is an unlicensed domain for the donation system......how can i change this as i have the pro version?

Also when clicking the donate now and get redirected to the donation page there are no amounts in the amount dropdown and the box is quite narrow.

This was already taken care of a long time ago and please keep PRO questions to site please as you know :)

Go to AdminCP=>AWCoding System LITE=>Transactions=>Drop Down Select Transfer=>Select the 3.5 Donation Mod bubble and click transfer and walla :)

i see three files to download... and it saying 1.0 is the latest one but i see 2.0 there too... so i m not sure which one is the latest release ... can some1 please tell me which one should i download ?

Go to AdminCP=>AWCoding System LITE=>Settings=>AWCoding MAIN=> Two settings currency symbol and your currency.

Is it showing in transactions log? As it should be there and you just need to select confirm. Then it will update everything and send out notifications etc. LITE version does NOT have IPN like PRO software does. This means the ONLY way for LITE to confirm a payment AUTO is if someone clicks the link provided by paypal after the payment is done. So if they close browser and not click link it will not auto confirm and you will have to do it manually. Again PRO is fully auto you set it and leave it and collect $$ and has 5 other payment processors and about to have 10 more :).

It is just a column thing real simple to fix all you need to do I presume is add ,'' at the end of that insert in XML. But I will wait till you output table for me.

will the pro version work right on the new version i do like the way this light version is working.

PRO works with 3.8.x+ no issues at all. LITE doesn't have a vb version check to add the ,'' to that table for 3.8 as PRO does. Sorry again I will be updating LITE as soon as I can Finishing up some PRO projects at the moment.

Below is the XML to run for users with 3.8.x so it doesn't error on that table phrase install.

#1 PRO has that but also it is fully auto as well so no need for that check anyway but NON IPN pro has that I will add it to next version of lite for you guess I missed that.

#2 I am surprised that paypal doesn't have an auto finder locate to change those two address fields zip state. Make sure in paypal you can accept other currencies besides US and auto accept payments outside US. Otherwise I would hit them up as that is their payment page not mine I have no control over it. Also I don't think this is an issue at all in PRO version as you can pay in other currencies then your own and it has a AUTO currency conversion LIVE info so if you get multi national currencies and want everything auto highly advise getting PRO.

#1 I will add to LITE
#2 Contact Paypal but they will say cause the currency you send to them is US so it sets up US address base so solution is PRO.

The system uses default VB 3.7.x hooks in header/navbar named: $template_hook[navbar_buttons_left] and $template_hook[navbar_buttons_right]. If you do not have these hooks in header/navbar add them OR manually place:

it's easy to find what id your style is -

go to admincp -> styles and templates -> style manager -> hover over the style and at the bottom of the browser where it shows the url you are hovering over it will say styleid=xx

Can you confirm that in the AdminCP -> AWCoding Software -> Notifications -> "This will activate the Notification System" = YES

DSL-Parse Modules parse_templates

Yes pro works for 3.8.0 and 3.7.5 with 0 issues

I presume you mean payments are going through but not updating the list or the bar. You need to go to adminCP and go to AWCoding Software LITE and look in transactions make sure it is recording there. Then approve manually if it did not auto do it. Make sure you do NOT have auto redirect at end of payment within paypal settings on paypal.com this will cause it not to auto confirm payment.

PRO edition you do NOT need to confirm it uses IPN and is instant and has a 6 way checker not to ever loose a payment.

When someone donates, i take it the transaction list in the admin CP is supposed
to show their details and same here awcl_dsl.php?do=list but neither get updated

Bashy's issue is mkportal causing internal server error. All you have to do is add a condition do not run mkportal when on THIS SCRIPT payment_verify. I could not find the plugin/place to add it to mkportal. Cause bashy your site is mad congested with tons of mods all over the place ahah. I know you understand. Clean it up :). Talk to you soon.

PRO has conditions already into software so this should not be issue have people running mkportal

"Set this value to how long it should be before Selected User Group members get removed from the group after their last donation time" = HOW LONG YOU WANT eg 6 months
(Dont forget to set "Which user group will they be moved to after the allotted time above")

I thought I had this installed right, when I put it in this morning it looked good, took the first donation and counted it right, but then the second and third donation went through but didn't get counted toward the goal. Then, I noticed that I had set in the cp to have the goal $200, but in public it still says $100 is the goal. I guess I have something configured wrong, but what?

Hmm, some more odd things. That first donation we got, it kicked the guy's account from registered user into the (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation usergroup, and he thought I banned him! :( The second and third donation still doesn't show up, but I just got a fourth and that one counted though.

I had the same issue. I went into the admin control panel, looked under "Group Change Settings," and "Donation User Group Change" was set to "No" but under "Affected Groups" had "Registered Users" checked. It apparently still does the user group change even though the main settings are set to "No."

I've attempted to uncheck the "Registered Users" but it stays checked after being saved. I'm basically just going to remove it from the main coding, which can be found at: awcodinglite/functions/trans.php starting at line # 44 (under "function ugp_change").

Made a donation from one PayPal account to another - payment taken from one account - payment showed in other account. However progress bar not changed, nothing added to 'meeting the goal' and no transaction in the admincp area. Basicly donation made but my site has no record of it.

Common now I am a professional business for over 10 years and been coding for decades in no way would that ever happen UNLESS you directly put my paypal account in your settings. By default it is blank or a fake Email which paypal rejects. So no idea why you are even accusing of such a thing. No transactions get lost. The fact is LITE does NOT use IPN/API "PRO DOES". So payments get registered to software through javascript at click before being directed to payment method. Then after payment method using PDT the payment method posts back to your site and confirms payment. Now two things IF the user does NOT click the return to your site and closes window or whatever the payment wont be recorded as payment PDT was not posted (Again PRO non of this matters accepted instant). OR if you have an auto redirect after X time in your paypal account setup this will also not send PDT info. So there are a lot of factors in lite as this is lite software ONLY TO BE USED TO EARN ENOUGH FOR PRO. PRO is software LITE is a mod. Completely different. PRO has over 350 settings and does not share one bit of code in common with LITE.

Donation System Lite, simply amazing what you have put together for free.

Then you have the PRO version. What can I say other then Awjunkies (Adam) has released one of the most comprehensive donations system ever conceived for vBulletin and it is continually being updated with both patches and new and exciting options. Not only does the software work as advertised but his continued support before and after is unparalleled.

I ran the gamut in terms of trying to strum up donation to help support my site and in less then 30 days after I installed this I had more donations then in the last 4 years from my members :eek: And with the currency converter no longer is there a question of converting donations for those not familiar with the dollar as this software talks their language!

I also am running another addon called Subscription System which is running side by side so that we can offer subscirption based options. that error is caused by having AWCoding- Subscription System amounts added to goal amount integration setting ON in bar section. It is NOT on by default NOR should you have turned it on without AWCoding- Subscription System which is explicitly says. Don't want to add a query to check if table exists before adding it to goal as that is additional query everyplace sidebar, centerbar, and main bar are shown not good :)

So go to AWcoding LITE->Settings->Donation System LITE->bar settings->Last option AWCoding subscription system integration set that OFF only have it on if you have SS installed on site.

DO NOT DO THIS :) you turned on a setting you shouldn't have because you don't have the software revert this or you will get DOUBLE the donation bar amount :)
I repeat change that back go to plugins my software parse_templates and change dsl_bar_awc_ss is statement area back to awc NOT awcl. Basically re-download and override XML this will put the correct table back and not effect settings or payments or anything.

Make sure to turn off the setting I stated above before re-importing as override.

AGAIN THIS IS NOT AN ERROR OR BUG PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL SETTINGS AND SETUP BEFORE USING.

Also I have to make CLEAR there was no version 2.0 of the LITE software everyone who has 0.2.1 or 0.2.0 are FAR behind in versions as 1.0.0 was released a year ago you have been using wrong version so please upgrade 3.0.0 to stop the confusion :)

LITE does not have goals system so your answer is no. Lite uses a timed slot system not goals system per say.

PRO has goals and will be getting a goal owner system which they can set own payment methods to be used etc. Not sure how I want to implement it at this time there is discussions on it on FC. But I have done custom stuff for users for PRO software with platinum service I have done alternating paypal accounts per transaction etc and so on. Anything can be done it is just a matter of you guys suggesting it and me coding it. BUT this will never be in LITE version as it has no goals system and I will not be bringing that to LITE it is a PRO only along with awards and so much more.

Make sure you went to settings and turned them ON then put in email/ID etc for the payment method and it does work. Paypal is only one ON by default with a dummy email (email@domain.com) which will show warning if someone tries to pay.

Works perfectly fine to me as a guest I can see it clear as day and even clicked and could donate through moneybookers no problem.

Make sure you have usergroup permissions set correctly. Make sure when you doing permissions your not blocking out memberships. For instance say your admin has membership special group but you selected special group no access to donate in donate settings it will block that user even though he is admin.

Again looks perfectly fine to me check for yourself as guest so only issues is how you setup permissions.

Ok what you need to do is go to product edit and change version to 3.0.0 save then upload XML as override and your all good. The initial error you got was at the end of install it just didnt get to load new templates and plugins so by bypassing the version # you will not reinstall 3.0.0 but just install plugins and templates.

Most likely they selected to keep the donation as an "Anonymous Donation "

The installation went very smoothly. The settings were a cinch, and it is in fact taking donations. For some reason, though, it hasn't recorded the transactions that have happened. This includes the donation bar not updating (still at 0) as well. Any suggestions?

I'm using a skin mod for the site, but I can't understand how that is causing an issue, if it is.

Make sure the transactions show as COMPLETE. So go to awcoding lite->transactions->search->look at the transactions if they do not say status complete it will not show on bar total. So make sure if it is not verified verify it if it is real payment. Remember LITE does not have IPN/API PRO does so it is not all automatic.

It is showing but did not increase above or to 1% because the .69 cents does not take it that high. .69 cents to your goal amount I bet does not =1% if it did then your goal would have to be $69 which I doubt is your goal amount.

Make sure you do not have PDT or payment AUTO return setup in paypal as this will effect post of payments back to site.

But please check browsers they are using. I tested Fx, IE, Opera no issues I presume they may be using chrome and this is reason why. SO let me know there browser and if you can test and see if same issue arises. As again just tested all browsers no issues at all on many servers and many sites configs.

I would hit me up as well on IM (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Skype) As I can solve this within minutes of looking and running few tests to see what it is.

what version where you upgrading from? 1.0.0?? You should not get that error unless you had addons and you uninstalled wrong. Like uninstalled DS but left addon etc. Need to uninstall addons first then DS or it will keep some tables that the addons need. That is only way I could see this error popping up. SO make sure to uninstall addons as well and always before doing the core. But anywho hit me up and I can help you directly take me 30 seconds. Each domain is independent whether it is LITE or PRO unless your talking subdomains etc. But issue is user and login stuff. The user database would have to be same on both databases gets quite complicated. So to answer your question no can't just throw a link from multiple domains to a single domain unless you do a few things.

It is all in there look for:

That is the start of the code for the LITE bar so look to few code lines after that as well for width % stuff and so on

Is it a Donation System? If so and it is on list of transferable systems then yes. If it is vBsubscriptions the built in system you need Subscription System (SS) of mine that will take over and handle all the subscriptions as well as much more security, flexibility, and be able to actually advertise the subscriptions with three benefits modules.

Yes built in awards system is for PRO and IPN/API auto payment system approve etc is all PRO.

Hi,

I have installed the AWC Donation System LITE with no problems.

I was wondering if it's possible to somehow have multiple donation channels/causes with this mod?

For example, one cause would be for maintaining my forum, and the other for say a charity. And people could choose which cause they would like to donate to.

I am happy to work on this sort of functionality with AWJ or anyone else for that matter if it hasn't already been done before.

PRO has a goals system which you can do what you wanting above. Can have unlimited goals set time they expire and start even auto renew and so much more. Has extra hooks and so on for when goal is met and when it ends so you can do extra or expand off it for your custom needs. Also you can display them all in and structure you want on the goals module.

Hi guys.. bit of a problem... I forgot to disable and uninstall this product before dropping the sql tables from the server database... Now i cannot access my wesbite without it giving a Database error...

Any chance someone could give me some pointers to disabling the product manually without vbulletin... or some the infomation i need in the tables to get it working again... I know a little about phpmyadmin.

You need to install tables VB_awcl_payments - VB_awcl_settings - VB_awcl_software hope you have a DB backup, i have the tables on notepad because i had the exact same problem as you are having, I cant delete the mod or install it, Its left files splatterd everywhere and i am waiting on AWjunkie to get on msn, Because after he fixed the dropdown navbar a user donated and got moved to another usergroup even though the settings where unticked for moving users, and after same person donated it said he donated ? and not ?10,

I want this removed from my website as its just caused me nothing but problems and realy has wasted my time :mad:

Well, ive fixed it now.. well ill test it all to see if it is ALL fixed.. but i can get back on my website..

Basically i looked through the XML for the table prefixes and settings and such, found the table that was causing the main trouble "awcl_settings" without this i couldnt even access admin cp without the dbase error.
Then i looked through and found the 6 or 7 fields that table required, added them, found all the settings.

What im gonna do now is Uninstall it.. and with a bit of luck drop the tables again (this time it shouldnt give a dbase error because its not tryinf to access that table.. then reinstall.

I am completely lost should have 0 issues guys. Make sure you using latest 3.0.0 there was a lot of confusion on previous versions with 0.0 stuff and people using wrong versions or not up to date I should say. Can always contact me directly to help you on MSN, SKYPE, AIM, YAHOO.

But I need to know exactly what you where trying to do that caused the issue. Just saying error without telling me when and what you where doing I can't help :(.

You guys shouldn't have any issues. The vbadvanced CMPS thing was my bad which I fixed for you and need to update zip to fix for rest. He also did a latest update which added a column so need to add that check as well before updating. But that only effects CMPS. Rest should not have any issues.

Again realize this is a free mod.

PRO is software and has absolutely 0 issues and is 10x what LITE is all automated etc.

But again support is best on www.forumcoding.com in chatbox or PM.

What I get out of reading above is you guys tried to drop the tables directly from phpmyadmin and not from product manager in vB. Which you should never ever do with any mod period. Always uninstall from product manager then remove files. Never remove files first then do products either. Always reverse install process is the way to go to be safe.

Not yet working on 2 new software actually 3 witch the release of 1 or more of these should have western union. As the new software require a back end update. Which I am already half way done with for 3.1.0 PRO.

I presume your talking about PRO FYI as I don't think LITE will get any more methods as PRO is getting like 10+ more. Again LITE is NOT automated IPN/API but PRO is. Set it and leave it.

I am having a problem on the vbadvanced section of my site. The forums and rest of the site do not have this problem. What I am seeing is this.

We have received a total of $ in donations towards our goal of $200

Not quite sure what is going on here. I installed and configured everything just fine with this product, however, when I click the Yes button to activate Donation System LITE and navigate to my forums, instead of seeing my forums, I receive this database error:

I believe you have PRO now and this is irrelevant. I have noticed some issue in LITE only about non IPN payments with paypal account currency not in USD and it doing that. As I don't have a non USD to test to see what might be causing it. But PRO has non of these issues.
