I am hoping there is going to be a fairly simple answer to this question. Basically I am using setting up a user login on a non-vb page that allows users on my forum to be logged into wordpress. I have installed the bridge script but there is a little something extra I need to be able to implement.
On the previous version of my site that I coded I had this code:
if ($vbulletin->userinfo['userid']){
print("<div id='badge'>You are logged in as <a href='profile.php?u=" . STR_PAD($vbulletin->userinfo['userid'],4,'0',STR_PAD_LEFT) . "'>" . $vbulletin->userinfo['username'] . "</a>. [<a href='".$forumpath."/login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&logouthash=$logouthash".$vbulletin->userinfo['logouthash']."'>Log Out</a>]</div>");
} else {
// Show Login Box
print("<form action=\"".$forumpath."/login.php\" method=\"post\" onsubmit=\"md5hash(vb_login_password,vb_login_md5password,vb_ login_md5password_utf)\">
<script type='text/javascript' src=\"".$forumpath."/clientscript/vbulletin_md5.js\"></script>
<div><b>LOG IN</b> or <b>REGISTER</b></div>
<div><label for='navbar_username'>User </label><input name='vb_login_username' type='text' class='input' id='navbar_username' size='16' /> <label for='navbar_password'>Pass </label><input type='password' name='vb_login_password' class='input' id='navbar_password' size='16' /> <label for='cb_cookieuser_navbar'><input name='cookieuser' type='checkbox' id='cb_cookieuser_navbar' value='1' checked='checked' /></label> <input type='image' src='submit.png' name='submit2' value='>' /></div>
<input type='hidden' name='s' value='$session[sessionhash]' />
<input type='hidden' name='do' value='login' />
<input type='hidden' name='vb_login_md5password' />
<input type='hidden' name='vb_login_md5password_utf' />
</form>");
The problem is that with that code in the header of my wordpress template, I can't seem to get it to recognise that the user is logged in. Any ideas what might be causing this?
