3.6.x - [Module] Upcoming Events - Modified Version + Custom Eventfields

Hi all, im using 3.6.x - [Module] Upcoming Events - Modified Version + Custom Eventfields
from vbadvanced, im trying to get the upcoming events page to show only events that are of a type defined in the custom fields in calandar.
i have 10 types of events:
Ballet and Dance
Classical Music
Films
Independent Cinema
Opera
Art Galleries
Comedy
Theatres
South Coast
National Tours
and i have a module for navigating to them.
so Ballet and Dance should only return events of that type...
i keep looking at upcomingevents.php but i cannot work out how to do this.

any help would be much apreciated, i have contacted the guy that done the modification over the origional mod, but got no responce.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

like i said i have contacted TheBlacki, he has not responded, and i cant find a thread about the mod here on vb.org, so im asking the question in the only way i can, i was hoping someone would know more about it than i do.

ok so im not getting much help here...

any idea where i would edit the mysql statment for the event pages..
