I can't really find a solid answer in lamens terms.

I created this: http://www.1stsfss.org/pages/inputAward.html

It generates an award case and outputs the html needed to display the case.

I want the users to be able to copy that html and put it into the custom profile field when thety edit their profile. That way the award case will be displayed in their profiles. Unfortunately as is it just shows the text and does not treat the HTML as HTML.

-I want just this forms input to be treated like HTML
-I would like to have just a certain access group be able to either use the profile field or use the html.

I don't know where to begin. I have some programming background I just don't know where to look and what some of the variables are..

help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

I put this as a comment in that product you posted, that just ended up breaking more things than being a fix..

I recently installed this and after install all of my bbcode stopped working. I downloaded this to have my custom profile field #5 parsed as HTML. However directly after install my bbcode was turned off when all usergroups have bbcode as on. I then proceeded to the edit usergroups and I edited every user group that I was apart of to allow html as well as every other option. Still nothing. I do not know what to put in the

Profile Fields Appearing in the Postbits?
List the Profile Field IDs that you would like to be parsed in the Postbits.

Do you have to change the permissions for every usergroup that a member is apart of if you want that member to allow html?

The author released a new version yesterday, I haven't had time to install or test it yet.

What version of vB are you running?
