Default Setting text..

hey im working on a mod for my forum and need help i have so it get text from a setting and i wonder how i can get this setting to have a default text in it?
here is the setting code:

<optioncode>textarea</optioncode>

If you have debug mode on, just go to the options screen where you added this and there is a text box to input the default text.
