I remember a long time ago there was a mod (I think its was for vb 2.x) that was a news portal script. It was really simple and work perfectly. It consisted of only 3 things, the php file that all you needed to do was uploaded to your server. In the php file you could select the forumids for the news. The other 2 parts were just the main template and the newsbit. No importing was necesary. I was wondering if that was able to do for 3.7
If memory serves me right the really only problem with the script was that if there were threads in the forumids that had to be moderated they would still show up on the news but were hidden in the forums.
