Favicon showing up for www.site.com but now site.com ???

I recently created a favicon.ico for my site and it's only showing up when I type www.mysite.com.

When I type just mysite.com and leave off the 'www.' , the favicon is not displayed.

Anyone experienced this problem before? Any ideas?

re-add/add your site to your favorites. this may help?

No, it's in firefox.

In IE, when I leave off the www and then add my site to favorites, the favicon shows up.

In firefox though, when i leave off the www, I get the vbulletin favicon and not my custom favicon. when the www is in the URL, the favicon displays fine.

did you over write your old favicon.ico or upload a new one?

my shows in firefox but not in ie...:( i dont know why...any tweaks for that
