I have an application on one site were users enter info ( betting tips ) ,
i want to offer those users an option saying "post tip on forum" ,
whereby the actual forum is located on a different site. (but i own both sites)
I have a username and password ( or i can ask for it ) and i've even got the URL of the thread in which to add the post. How can i add the post from an external application ?
Said application is written in Java so i am looking to use that however,
with a solution in PHP i should be able to bring it all together too.
Any info pointing me in the right direction much appreciated, thanks :up:

In case you are wondering, NO this is NOT about creating a spam bot :)

Just found the info about the RSS feed bot by vbulletin,
problem there is it uses a fixed username and forum,
i'd need the ability to put the username/password/forum in the feed together with the post content.
