here is my servers info
Your server is running CentOS release 4.5 (Final) for the operating system.
The processor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz and there is 2G of ram
installed. There are two 160G sata drives. One for the operating system and
one for the backup drive. The cpanel version currently installed is
11.16.0-RELEASE_18546.
Right now there is not much load on the server though periodically the mysql
process will briefly use anywhere from 20% - 90% of the cpu power.
:D
my board is having so much load now

What kind of server loads are you getting? Is this increase in load recent? Have you changed something recently? Are you on a shared server or a dedicated one?

You should probably post here for help in optimizing your server: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14 Make sure you read the requirements for posting first: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70117
Heh, liquidweb. That says all. I think they have the worst hardware and web configurations possible, not to mention outrageous prices. Not having in your depot 15K disks is insulting for any big boarder.
Start by tossing the CraPanel, then enable query_cache in MySQL.
Then send them a letter and tell them that their server configurations are crap, it is not vBulletin the culprit.
What software you actually installed, beside vBulletin? Like XCache etc.
Let me know if you made any modifications at all. And Lynne is right, you should post everything on the Server Configuration, at vBulletin.com site.
We will continue the discussion there.

Is not your fault, honestly. You are a regular guy who simply tries to get a decent host.
They are the crooks.
I say that because one of my clients lost $8,000 in one week with them. They charged him to the skin for every minor thing... just because they saw he has money.
