Slow loading - Mysql?

Hey guys,

I have just moved a customers vbulletin forum from one host to myself and put him on a standard centos machine, 4gb ram bla bla.

He has a few sites, all which work fine, but this forum - approx 50k members - simply takes 2 minutes to load each page. Now I "assume" its some sort of mysql slow down. Any one come across similar or know what the hell to do?
