Can I use two MySQL databases for 1 forum? My MySQL database says the max that is allowed is 100MB and I am currently at 71MB. I wanted to figure out what I need to do before it is too late. I can have up to 50 databases so if I can do this, then it will not be a problem. Anyone run into this problem?

I really do not with to switch hosting company, so please specify if there is anything I can do here. Also, what would happen if mysql database reaches the full potential?

Thanks

You can, but it will be extremely hard. You could have one database for posts and threads and the other for everything else. There is a tutorial around here somewhere about integrating two databases.

Are you storing attachments in the database or file system? If in the database, get them out of there and that should free some space up. But really, it sounds like a crappy host if they are putting that limit on you...
