in the acp is an option for admins to make "simple" bbcodes. If you want something more interesting, such as a database call or php code to replace the tag with some text, you will have to muck around with class_bbcode.php, or write a plugin therefore.

He asked for something more complex than the simple option offered in the acp. I assume there are hooks that would allow new bbcode as plugins? (for those not Real Man(tm) enough to edit the code)
