I have a site with about 5,000 users, close to a million posts, (several million posts archived off in a database) we average about 5,000 posts per day. About a 1,000 unique visits a day and 50,000 page views according to Analytics.

Now the problem is we are quite liberal with our users. We allow as much cussing as they want as long as it's not racial hate. We allow all NSFW images as long as they are properly tagged and hidden within hide tags that do not allow them viewed until clicked.

We've tried Google in the past and have made very very large chunks of money only to be denied the funds because Google feels we are not an appropriate site.

So what are some Ad solutions that may be more liberal in what they allow?

had the same problem with google on my initial board.

problem was like this:
first 2 months of the board being up and with adsense = low member count (growing slowly from 500-1000), then we started an aggressive advertising campaign, added content to our websites, got our buttons posted on many big sites.

Content grew, membercount grew, clicks on adsense grew

got up to 100$ during the 4th-5th month and to 5k users - BANG: mail from google "you are cheating and using auto-clickers", account closed, money not paid out

Google stinks!

Check out some type of affiliate program. I use MaxBounty. Its not per click, but pay out much better then Google, Shitika or the others did for me in the past.

Been using AdBrite due to my mature content. If you generate good quality clicks and advertisers purchase spots it can do well. If nobody directly purchases spots the standard PPC revenue can be on the low side. I was making 4x more revenue with Google before being dumped but content limits options.
