Possible? Install Portal, and have main URL go directly to forums? (more details)

Ok, I have my forums. But it set to my main URL http://www.mysite.com leads directly to the forums.

I want to keep it this way (for now), but I want to install the portal/CMS so I can go ahead and get to work on it. But when A user comes to mysite.com I still want them to go to the forums and ignore the portal stuff that I am currently working on until I have it done to set it live.

Is this possible?

Yea just use htaccess to set which page you want to open first.

Yes if when you install vbadvanced make sure the vbadvanced cmps.php file is where you want it. Then set the direct path and url in the admincp for vbadvanced.
