I've been waiting months it seems to install this. It's very frustrating.

Honestly, it probably won't be fixed. The author hasn't even logged in since the first week of February. I'm thinking that no one should count on it ever being fixed. There are two people who are currently working on new shops though, so hopefully there is some hope in one of those :)

I understand. I'm just a little irked that he couldn't let everyone know he was finished with it instead of just never logging in again. Time to move on to bigger and better though, I guess. I'm definitely willing to pay if someone is willing to create a store and actually support it. :D

I think this ship has sailed...it's nearly April, almost 2 months since the failure with not even a hint of a resolution...
I understand your frustration, though...a few people have come in like they're talking directly to him and telling folx he's looking into it and nothing's come of it. If the guy doesn't want to do it even with firm offers to donate, then oh well...time to move on...more power to him and I wish him well...I wish I had his skills...
vBulletin need to lock this forum up, though...to keep it open gives false hope and it's pointless...I only check in now to see if someone's found something new...

i agree with Aurora
Mind you, there's no point even checking this forum is there? if he DOES bring out a fix, or new version, we'd all get email notification
Considering he hasn't visited here since last month, I wouldn't hold your breath to either a fix, or a new version
But, I still wonder if he's running a fixed copy on his own site, or if that one to, has the exploits in it

If he gets exploited...he might just wake up and release the fixes...but then again....2 solid months of people complaining to him hasn't done it....so can't even count on that, lol

What is the exploit, can we just fix it ourselves?

Hello, I am new here and was contemplating adding the vBBux / vBPlaza mod but what exactly is wrong with it? I want to know so that I don't mistakenly add a broken mod. Are there any other alternatives for a forum point system based on posts, reputation, referrals, length of post?
Thanks for your help.

Try the search function up the top , vbux / plaza has been removed. but if you want to use it im not gonna stop you. i would just wait for another cash/shop hacks to be released sooner or later someone will get their act together and make one bigger and better.

Well, you could try it without the donate feature.

So as long as I don't use the "donate" feature, I shouldn't have any problems with the "bug" that was discovered?
