Show Who Started Thread on Forum Homepage

I would like to have both the Thread Starter and Last Reply by displayed on my forums home page. Is there an option to set this in the control panel or do I need to edit a template to add this information. You can see my forum here

Once you drill into a forum the Thread Started and Last Replied By information is displayed.

Any help would be appreciated.

You'd probably need to make a plugin to hook into the process that generates and spits out the forum home page and modify the query to pull the creator of the most recent thread. Then you'd modify the template to display that info...

Hmmm. Anyone want to take a whack at creating the plugin?? I think it would be a nice thing to have. I have had several users wanting to see this information.
