how to prevent access to some forums?

am stuck in how to find a refrence for the permission system!

You just want to prevent access to a Usergroup?

Just go into your ACP>Forums and Moderators>Forum Permissions and set with the appropriate settings for the appropriate usergroups as such to disallow them access to the forum.
