i was wrong.
major bug in that modified mod too.
if user click on thanks he'll see hidden content but again if he opens same thread or refresh page he'll not see hidden content and as thanks has been pressed no option to click thanks again.

So plz someone release it for vb 3.7.

this hack works fine for me, but I was wondering if there's a way so that once a person replies, they can only see hidden content from before their reply. What I mean is that if someone posts hidden content afterwards, it will be hidden to everyone, regardless of it they replied earlier in that thread.

I've just realized the hack doesn't hide links when you subscribe to threads and if the thread is included in RSS feeds. :eek:

I've subscribed to a thread and I'm receiving all replies with un-hidden links.

Can you confirm this? If so, the hack is almost useless for me.

no problem so far i just imported the product, enable the ajax option in vBulletin Options>Posts: vB Code [hide] disable the thanks feature since i dont wanted and is not working, hope it help some ppl like me :p
now its just me or when u use that hide hack when u try to see the post its a litle bit slow?

Go to Custom vB Codes section in your admin control panel
click choose the hide tag and click on edit.
no need to alter anything, just hit "save settings"

should do, I have no idea why this eror occures the one or other time.

Hack doesn't work.
IF you just stay with the mouse on the quote/hidden pic (no click) it reveals the links in the bottom status bar. It happens in Firefox, IE and Safari.

EDIT: links got revealed in quotes too.

i'm on vb 3.7.1 and installed above product with modified code in one plugin in hide.
it's working then but some bugs like in printthread option it's not hiding.

will ur product work on 3.7.1? which one to install?

Ok, guys, I think I've fixed the AJAX problem.

Uploaded the solution 15 minutes ago to my forum and some users have already told me that they got no more "missing security token" errors.

The solution is quite simple:

Edit the ajax-product-sids_hide_v0.3.5-vborg-en.xml
Look up the following line of code: unhide.send("do=whatever&p="+postid+"&all="+old);
Replace it with the next one:unhide.send("do=whatever&p="+postid+"&all="+old+"&securitytoken=" + SECURITYTOKEN);
Save the file
Reinstall the productAnd that's it. Once the product has been reinstalled, the links associated with your "thank you" buttons will look like http://yourdomain/forumroot/post_thanks.php?do=post_thanks_add&p=452781&securitytoken=a2a47806c680a2843a98da216896c82f1fae 8288

The probelm I've had it now, when one user has deleted from the forum database.

the post that had written in the forum (from the user DELETE) now emerge as "guest User",

and the contents "hiden" are visible to everyone without being logged. (In the post says, "show hiden content").

(This only happens with the user DELETE) (in the other registered users everything goes perfect)

As I can do to fix it?

LOL, one "BIG" Bug: Content is not hidden when you do search.

I take a look at this Product and find out that the plugin "Andreas hint 4", the hook location "search_results_prebits" does not exist in vBulletin 4...

I've tried the original version and Aren's v0.4.1 without success. The hide tag appears in my list of custom BBcodes but the "html replacement" box is empty, meaning that the hide tag doesn't function. Can anyone tell me what code should be there please?
