Lottery NOT working. HELP PLEASE!!

Hi all. I have manually installed a "Scheduled Task" as per another thread here. I have set my lottery to END (Under the vbPlaza Lottery options) on "October 12, 2006 at 15:35. I have set my manually added Cron to go off at 15:37, leaving the asterisk for "Day of the Week" and "Day of the Month" expecting it to go off at 15:37 everyday. ( I am testing this right now, so I want it to go off when I want it to..)

So, I have bought 10 tickets for myself, and the time has come and gone, and nothing has happened.

Anyone have ANY insight here?

hmm weird as far as i know that should have fixed it for you. lottery under the default settings works for me.

as long as you created that cron to call that lottery script it should work. can you double check your cron settings?

there was a detailed post on how to set the cron up.

Quick Update.. It worked.. However it is an hour later than it says it is..

I mentioned it was scheduled to go off at 15:37, but it did not go off until 16:37.. I dunno what is going on, but atleast it worked!!

I read somewhere that the first person that buys the ticket always wins.. Is this true?

good to hear it worked.

you need to check the difference it timezones? make sure that you sent the timezone in vb correctly to match your time otherwise your 15:37 isnt the same as the forums/servers 15:37, makes sense?

i never heard that first person always wins since it is meant to be random.

I first installed a hourly CRON, this was very bad, because the daily Lottery wons every Hour. :(

Now I have a daily Cron and it all works.
