Excellent Hack!
Installed flawlessly but the "Active", "Non-Active", and "Activity Level" stats don't show. Anybody know if I missed something?

I tried that edit, which produces this error:
Database error in vBulletin 3.6.4:
Invalid SQL:
-86400
AND forumid NOT IN (0)
ORDER BY views DESC
LIMIT 10;
MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-86400
AND forumid NOT IN (0)
ORDER BY views DESC
LIMIT 10
Error Number : 1064
Try replacing:
TIMENOW - 86400
with:
(TIMENOW - 86400)

Check vBulletin user activity settings. Perhaps they are off or set to 0.

That worked great, thanks!
I just noticed that this query as edited doesn't pull the threads with the most views or replies in the last 24 hours, but rather pulls the threads with the most view or replies all-time that were active in the last 24 hours (lastpost).
But it's close enough :)
Thanks again.
Great work on this hack, my members love it.

I was wrong in my description.
On the main stats page (psistats.php) the date is displayed in correct format:
dd/mm/yyyy
But in ACP in psiStats 2006 section there is a BUG with how a date must be entered.
As description says:
Date of Creation of Your Board
... please specify the correct date here is dd/mm/yyyy format.
But for now that field is parsed in format:
mm/dd/yyyy
In other words on the main page is:
25.10.2002
And in ACP you have to enter for now:
10/25/2002
Please, can you update it to correct format:
dd/mm/yyyy
Thanks :)

great script.... its very cool to track the stats.
one request and i dont even know if it is possible but 98% of our requests are from within the US so that doesnt help us a whole lot. Would it be possible to break that down by state (start with the US and add other countries when needed). Im sure this is something we would all love is a breakdown of even more specific data. (maybe replace the country info link with a state breakdown) or add a small link next to it with each countries hits broken down by area (ie states for the US)
The reason it is not updated is because when user chooses a style using the switcher, it is not saved to his or her account. It is only stored in his or her cookie. The only way to fix this would be to have vBulletin save the style to database, but I am not sure that alterting vBulletin's behavior is the best way to go in this case.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=1137190 - Possible fix for this issue. It might be something you can incorporate. I'm going to re-install psiStats to see what happens. Will let you know.

Excellent mod. :cool:
My moderating team is showing correct but with this mod, I get all my supermods as admins because I let them use some parts of the admincp.
I also noticed many other users having problems with the different part of moderators or supermods.
One suggestion: Why don't you use the same settings than the mod team page use in order to reflect exactly the same information?

This is a great mod, my only problem is getting screen resolutions and color depths to show up. Everything else is working, and I waited the 15 minutes to see if that would help but nothing is happening.
Any help?

I to am having problems with screen resolutions and colour depths showing
i have 5 people with 1024x768 showing and with 32 bit
but there are like 80 members a day logging in + who ever else coming to the site. And i use 1280x768 myself and that dont show either.
i am on 1.4.3 and has been running a while on 3 of my sites but the screen resolutions and colour depths don't seem to be right on any of them.
Any idea how i can fix this ?

Great mod! Installed!
Would be nice to have some stats (like screen-res) clickable to show which users still use 800x600.
ps.
I have 1 Admin, 2 Mods and 1 S-mod, but Psi says just 4 Admins.

Make sure to enable javascript in your browsers. And, if you use some less known browser, there may be problems too. Works fine in IE, Opera and Firefox.

Perhaps all have admincp access rights?

Well, don't you use the same disposition than the moderating team page?
Wouldn't it be more simple in order to reflect the same team like the one we actually have?

Yes all enabled, i use IE7 and firefox 2 and i can see the stats on some other users sites so not a java problem.
Everything else works perfect.

If he added that feature to this great hack, he might as well put this hack up for sale. I believe that would require a lot of code to tie an individual to a screen setting.

Is it that simple to add a browser icon and the software will detect it? If not, then how can I get this to detect other browsers (ex: SeaMonkey, Maxthon, Netcaptor, etc...)

Yes, it is that easy to add icons for items that are recognized. I don't think Maxthon is in the list of detected browsers, but if seamonkey is, then go ahead and add it. Make sure that the filename of the gif file is the same as the abbreviation for that browser in the database.

k, think I got it to work, i uploaded the file in includes/xml and includes/cron as well as the folder, includes/psistats as well as the file in the admincp/ lastly the psistats.phpp into my forums/.
OK, but when I take a look at the site statistics and click on the bottom three links( Countries & Regions | Browsers & Operating Systems | Referring Sites), no data is shown (Just the Title bars)?
Is that ok?

it is saying we have 1996 members in north america....which I know is false as we don;t have that many members period. Or am I reading this all wrong?

If you have a very large site, then the front page might take a while to load. I'll fix that in the next release though.
I have about 17000 members and about 100-150 people online at the same time. I have this installed on my localhost now and I would really like to put this on my live board. will this have a noticable effect on the speed of my site? And what if i just give access to my admins, would that take away some server load and speed issues?
either way, the mod looks great!

Hi, first of all, kudos on the new version!
I have a question though. What was the reason for changing the coding that calculated the moderators and administrators to this:
$adminugs = array();
$smodugs = array();
foreach ($vbulletin->usergroupcache as $usergroupid => $usergroup)
{
if ($usergroup['adminpermissions'] & $vbulletin->bf_ugp_adminpermissions['cancontrolpanel'])
{
$adminugs[] = $usergroupid;
}
else if ($usergroup['adminpermissions'] & $vbulletin->bf_ugp_adminpermissions['ismoderator'])
{
$smodugs[] = $usergroupid;
}
}
if (sizeof($adminugs))
{
$adminugs_cond = array();
foreach ($adminugs as $ugid)
{
$adminugs_cond[] = "FIND_IN_SET($ugid, membergroupids)";
}
$getadmins = $db->query_first("
SELECT COUNT(userid) as X
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user
WHERE usergroupid IN (" . implode(',', $adminugs) . ")
" . (sizeof($adminugs_cond) ? "OR " . implode(' OR ', $adminugs_cond) : "") . "
");
$c['administrators'] = $getadmins['X'];
}
if (sizeof($smodugs))
{
$smodugs_cond = array();
foreach ($smodugs as $ugid)
{
$smodugs_cond[] = "FIND_IN_SET($ugid, membergroupids)";
}
$getsmods = $db->query_first("
SELECT COUNT(userid) as X
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user
WHERE usergroupid IN (" . implode(',', $smodugs) . ")
" . (sizeof($smodugs_cond) ? "OR " . implode(' OR ', $smodugs_cond) : "") . "
");
$c['smoderators'] = $getsmods['X'];
}
$getmods = $db->query_read("
SELECT DISTINCT userid
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "moderator
WHERE forumid <> -1
");
$c['moderators'] = $db->num_rows($getmods);
$c['staff'] = $c['administrators'] + $c['smoderators'] + $c['moderators'];
}
In the last version I was able to change what defined an administrator, and what defined a moderator. I was able to change it to define it by usergroups. I need to be able to do that because I have multiple groups that use the admin cpanel, but aren't actual administrators.
I also have two different moderator groups that I was able to define and show on the last version. Now it shows everyone that has access to the mod cp as moderator, and some of them are only blog mods, which I don't want showing up.
Under this new piece of coding, will I be able to define my custom groups, and define them by usergroup instead of by who has access to mod and admin cpanels?
Thank you! :)

Under this new piece of coding, will I be able to define my custom groups, and define them by usergroup instead of by who has access to mod and admin cpanels?
Thank you! :)
The reason is - speed of execution.

finally installed it on my live board. the script gives some very interesting and often unexpected information (like the huge amount of people using a 800x600 ratio).
So thanks for this!
a feature i would love to see in a future release is general trafic information (unique visitors per day/week/month, pageviews etc.)

You get LOCK errors in vBulletin crons too, don't you? Cause if you hoster doesn't support it, some of vBulletin's crons won't work either.

Goto your Admin cp

find psistats 2006

It's not the script. It's the server. This error can only happen if the MySQL server is being restarted. If the hosting provider thinks it is the script, then he is clearly incompetent and you might want to switch to a different one.

I like this hack, thanks for making it, Psionic Vision!
Configurable list of usergroups that can access statistics (optional).
I set this so that only admins (usergroup 6) can access statistics. The menu option in "Quick Links" was still available to all users, though. (It didn't afford them access to anything, but I preferred they not see it at all.) I fixed this by putting this in navbar:
<if condition="$bbuserinfo[usergroupid]==6">
<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="psistats.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[psistats_link]</a></td></tr>
</if>
It'd be nicer if this tied in automatically with the permitted usergroups set via the AdminCP, obviously.
As a future feature request, I'd also love more detailed/specific permissions. For example, I'd like to allow registered users to view "Top Threads & Forums," but nothing else.

Oh, and now that I have this information, is there a way to discover specifically which users are using what style? In other words, if psiStats reports there are only two users who have chosen "SkyBlue" in their UserCP, is there a way to find out who those two users are? Like a search in the AdminCP or something? I can't seem to find it. If I get rid of that style I'd like to let them know ahead of time.
Thanks again for a great add-on!

hmmmm - One last thing before ditching...
One 3.5.4 version I was told to run query, because the cron didn't install correctly...
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1090815&postcount=529
INSERT INTO `cron` VALUES (NULL, 1136665500, -1, -1, -1, 'a:1:{i:0;i:25;}', './includes/cron/psistats_update.php', 1, 'psiStats 2006 Update (15-Minute Interval)')
would this have any affect on 3.6.4? Because like I've said ((in the 3.5.x psistats thread...)) fresh install, lock tables permission OK, all instructions followed properly.
When running the cron the message simply states: psiStats 2006 Update (15-Minute Interval) and nothing else.
Any ideas?

I think it would be nice to add a new os icon for Windows Vista since it will become more and more popular :)
A small remark for the xml-feed.png and js-feed.png images: can you add a border="0" to it, because not everyone has got this as a standard item in their CSS (and a border around it is very ugly).

Hey, I love this mod and it all works fine... except...
For some reason, none of the "Display Colors & Resolutions" statistics are shown.
Any thoughts as to why it wouldn't be showing?

WHere exactly are the stats supposed to show up? I've done the template edits, I've imported the xml file... I cant see where the stats are. (???)
Or is it just Quicklinks -> Site Statistics ?

This error usually comes when you upload the files with wrong mode, just read the installation notice carefully ;)

I must be blind. I dont see anything in the manual or the FAQ that says the files have to be uploaded in a particular mode.

How do I get this to show up anywhere? I mean, I can enter the url <domain>/psistats.php and get it, but nobody ELSE knows where it is. How I can I get it to say, show up in QuickLinks?

Looks good, but I would have liked it more if there were capabilities of checking unique views and views of all pages clearly!
Thanks for the modification though!

psiStats isn't a social networking feature. It's a statistics module. And yes, it does work on 3.7. :)
