Hello,
on their posts, some of my users don't get their infos displayed. Nothing but their username appears.
everything looks fine on the databases so I'm really puzzeled by this
can you tell me what could be the cause of this, or at least what is the function that displays user info on the forum posts so I can look it up
thanks

There could be any number of reasons, not really much in your post to go on.

That info will display in either the postbit or postbit_legacy templates of the style. If it shows for some and not for others, they may have selected not to display their age (for example) in their user options. Maybe this will help point you in the right direction.

Posts: n/a would indicate the user is a guest, if they are not for some reason then there could be deeper issues, we'ed need more info to go on.

I have attached an image showing 2 users with their info not displaying and 2 showing ok
a possible cause of the problem might be the fact that I also use a user signup page on my main site. there, I create all the db entries necessary and place a user cookie containing 2 information fields: username and password with the same names and values as the ones used by vbulletin
but something is going wrong and I'm not sure what as the db entries look all fine. this is why I was asking for the function that displays the info, so I can look it up and see what it pulles from the db
looking in templates of the style doesn't help

Looks to me like they're Guests or they could have possibly been regular Users at some point, but were then deleted -- after deleting a user, all their posts would appear as Guest Posts.

no, I still have them on the database and can find them using vbulletin's Search for user feature
