I want to edit a PSD file from a skin but can't seem to save it as individual gif images like it has in the upload/images/misc folder. How do I save the PSD so that it saves the different buttons and logo to separate images? Thanks.

i think you have to copy that layer into a new file then save it.....i'm not sure if theres an easier way but thats how i've done it.

Yeah, I had the logo saved as a gif, but the dimensions were all screwed up. I thought there was a way to say the whole PSD into files all at once.
Man, I was hoping for some help here lol. Is there a good tutorial on how to do this? For some reason I just can't figure it out. I editted all the layers in the PSD, but now I need to save them to gifs to upload them to my board. Do I save each layer separately? If so, how do I take, for example, the "Home button" layer and make it so I can save it as a gif that will just have the Home button image?

I can only guess that you are using photoshop. If so, the way the layers work is you can save anything that is viewable. Meaning any layer turned on (little eye showing).
If you wish to save the viewed layers as gif, go to "File/Save for Web". Here you have the option to save it to gif format, and the various attributes for a gif.
The psd's given from vBulletin have several different buttons/stats, in one psd file. You can turn on/off the layers to save the different types of buttons.
I hope this helped... I'm not entirely sure of your question... guessing mostly :D
How do you save it the right size of the ones that are in the header? I'm not quite sure i understand.
