vbBux/Plaza + RPG Inferno (Full version), Work well together? Same time? Settings?

Hey all, I am a proud user of RPG Inferno.. and well.. for awhile I was used to ushop/cash however for some odd reason... once I put the 2.00 ucash into my forums.. it looks like its working, but points dont show a value (I did a mass donate and I know they got it as it shows on richest users) however its like something is amiss. As nothing is buyable in the store, and yea, I set usergroup allowances. Set prices within buying range etc.. Just doesnt seem right, doesnt let you buy a action, doesnt even show the word "buy" so was just thinking.. maybe RPG Inferno has a way of interfearing.. not sure. Never tried both at the same time.

So was thinking of trying the new famed vbbux I heard about.. with arcade, and all those other intergrations, sounds nice to install!

My idea is this, To allow users to earn points (for the store) AND "money" for the RPG system.

Not only that.. I know on Inferno forums they have talks about some converters that go on to convert points -> gil and back and so.. but I wonder... are those 1 for 1 transfers or could one maybe get a way to be able to set a ratio? Meaning like maybe 10,000 points would give you 1,000 gil this way no one from the past who has buckos of points saved up could spam the new rpg system with a god like amount of money.

Anyways.. if you know vbbux is great with inferno.. is there a certain way I should set it up? Hell.. maybe someone has a idea why ucash/store isnt working "correctly" like it "should" be, postbit and legacy were edited as it was said to be.. so not sure. =/

I have both running on my site but they are using the different cash systems. Would it be possible to have a bank option similar to the deposit/withdraw but for inferno?

tell the points system to just use the money table of the forums? Just wondering how best to go about this.. as the RPG system is very nice.

The problem with inferno is that it is hardcoded so you would have to change alost every single file. I requeste dit for the new version they are making but no idea.

In the meantime a quick conversion form in the Bank would be a good stop gap. Please cmx!!!!

Well say I wanna switch the vbbux or easier yet ucash/store and change the uttpoints value to the one inferno uses, what table would I need to switch it to?

I dont think you can, Inferno doesnt use a field it uses a completely different table. I was going to ask over at Inferno but it looks like he has other problems right now:

I noticed.. as I got something in my email from the hackers saying he was owned and f-u admin... so great.. paied 30$ and now they got hacked. >.<

But yea, he uses 2 tables, I heard one of them is called money or something.

Right, Vbux uses a field in the users table, making it use a completely different table would be hard because any other application you might try and get to work with Vbux would have to be modified as well.

The best idea is for ZT to mod Inferno to use the now most popular money system instead of a homegrown one. I think he will do that if he gets his forum back online (prays)

But in the interim I am hoping CMX could work out a crossover form so members can convert backand forth (with a little tax :) )

Ok so atm.. has anyone got both to work same time? Or maybe u shop? I dont mind buying a 2nd RPG inferno.. but only if I can use a store too, since I have member group options. Then RPG.

Ok update. I DID manage to get Ucash and Ushop working ASIDE RPG!

Here is how I did it..

Installed RPG Inferno Full version. (Do your setups, configs etc)

Then installed the ucash etc 2.0 version I think it is. Do your template edits etc.

Now here is where I stopped... it failed.. points didnt show etc....

I Turned OFF the ushop! So it was disabled.. then re enabled it.. alla sudden.. no questions asked.. points showed.. could buy in store etc.. and it was seperate from RPG! Meaning.. RPG was earning money for posts, same time points were being earned from store!
If that didnt work.. I know I messed with the nav bar option to load categories or so..

Anyways.. another question.. if I wanted to convert a uttpoints from 3.0x ushop/ucash to the 3.5.4 vbbux system.. whats the easiest way to do this? So my members dont lose points?
