I am interested in setting up some betting or pool type things on my website that members can use with their vbbux. I don't want to make it too complicated initially but it seems like this might be a popular addition to most anybodies forums...
Football Pool
Baseball Pool
Survivor Pool
Racing Pool
If this not out there somewhere I can always code it myself but I don't normally play pools so I am really not sure where to start...
Anybody have some general advise on this? Anybody up to the challange of making a system like this for vbplaza?

You know I use vbookie myself but pools are not the same. They are much more fun for the members and I wish like mad someone would code it. Basically this is how it works. On paper that is.
You draw up squares on a piece of paper 10 by 10. The top is labeled one team and the left side the opposing team. Each person can purchase a square or mutiple squares. Should be limited to 4 I'd think. Once all the squares are filled numbers are drawn by a third party 1 through 10 to number across the top and then again to nuber the left side (a computer can do this randomly Im sure). Now let say you picked a square and the numbers were drawn 4 on team A and 7 for team B. Then your teams score any score with the last numbers matching win. Usually the pot is divided per quarter or period. and you can win up to four times. Like this 1st quarter score Team a 14 team b 17 you won 1/4 of the pot. 2nd quarter team a 17 team b 17 you didnt win Who ever had 7 and 7 won. So on and so forth you get the idea I hope. Code this I beg you!

Sounds like another custom add on, it sounds very possible to do, but time is not something I have much of at this point. Maybe in the future.
