View Full Version : Ribbons, Ponits in postbit
I have successfully installed vbplaza 1.5.5 on vb3.5.4.
Every things seems to work fine, except the postbit does not shows ribbons, points or any thing related to vbPlaza.

Same here, I double and triple checked what I entered when I set it up, or did I miss something somewhere?
Edit
Did some playing, found that if I set to horizontal postbit, I could see the points, gifts, ribbons, and anything bought in the plaza. But if I turn off horizontal postbit, I cannot see them.
Try editing postbit_legacy with the postbit edits, and it should work. I just fixed mine.
Now to figure out who no other user group can buy anything. (and yes, I enabled it in the usergroups like I should...unless I need to edit some other file elsewhere, hehe)

you also have to go into vbPlaza > manage options (I think it is) and set the usergroup permissions for each and every feature, one by one
the text in documentation should actuly be cahanged
Inside template 'postbit' or 'postbit_legacy'
to
Inside template 'postbit' and 'postbit_legacy'

Not true anymore, the category permissions filter down to the items now.
SO if u set allowed category groups to whatever u want, u can remove all permissions from the items in that category and they will still be accessible.
Change also noted and it will say AND in the next release.

I've done so much playing around with the settings I've forgotten half of what I've done. Hehee...
Only thing I'm looking for now, is a casino type addon, so folks can waste all their points playing blackjack or poker or such.
I know I went thru and did them all individually, since I didn't want some usergroups to have access to the admin functions (which I thought shouldn't even of been included in the first place), but thats just me.
Now off to Donate to this guy, he deserves it. - well I was...only way to do it is to purchase the branding free option, I just wanted to donate like $20 via paypal, I guess I will have to wait to see what goes on for that...ugh.

A casino add on would be pretty neat, but thats a bit more involved than I'm up to at this point. If someone could make an SWF that could play the slots/poker, I could probably integrate it quite easily though.
If u want to donate, u can donate to sales@vbplaza.com via Paypal.
