Points not showing up in postbit...

after I upgraded tonight. Yes vbux is enabled.

plus gifts, ribbons and sports icons aren't showing up either in the post NOR in the members info.


help??

EDITED: ok I got the gifts and ribbons to show up in posts, but not in the members info. ..
I have the points in the members info now, but still not in the posts

and no sports icons in the post... Do I have to reinstall that add=on?

Sorry to keep bringing this up, but I've YET to get an answer, and CMX has us spoiled... I'm not used to going this long without a reply here, LOL !

I'd really REALLY love to get the points to show in the postbit again.......

I'm wondering if $vboptions is available in all places.

In the template edit for postbit/postbit_legacy

Find:

<if condition="$vboptions['vbbux_enabled']">


Try to change that part to this:


<if condition="$vbulletin->options['vbbux_enabled']">


And see if that helps?

I am having the same problem. Just installed vbux and vbookie and have them both enabled, but cannot get point to be seen in postbits.

Points are working correctly, but me being a stupid noob and all cannot get it seen in the postbits (bets are working, can see richest members and their points in vbplaza main and see points subtracted from total amount when a bet is made).

I tried the fix above, but it did not work.

Any other ideas?

chiaa, you did the postbit template edits right? I didn't think there was any additional template edits for the last upgrade, but there was. I did them, and they're showing up now

I edited some templates. Can you point me in the direction of the ones you are talking about (the code)?

just open the ReadMe file in the download and do the template changes for the postbit, or postbit legacy, whichever one you use.

I know this is an older thread, but I'm having a similar issue. I cant get the points to show up in the posts, though it shows up elsewhere. I've been over all the edits a few times now, and still no luck.

Any ideas other than I'm crazy? :(

Are you sure you changed both of "postbit" and "postbit_lagacy",

When i had same problem, it was because i edited only "postbit" while i was using "postbit_lagacy"

In documentation it convey the sence that you either have to change one or the other to new bies especily.

If all else fails, try to revert ur postbit/postbit_legacy templates and redo the edits from scratch to both templates.

I think I have a typo, instead of points, my people see < instead. Do I look in postbit and postbit legacy or elsewhere?

Well... I dont know... but I see the word "points" in posts next to username and their post count etc.. I know its being counted and so.. however the store wont let anyone have the option to "buy" anything, even tho I set them to "allowed" for the actions...

I use RPG Inferno as well.. I dont know if the mix of the 2 is causing issues or if there is a certain way things are to be setup? All I know is I am tempted just to go try vbbux/plaza. =/
