Can this be made a permanent option like signatures? Always editable in the users profile.

Thanks,

X

It is now, its inside of the General Permission Options inside the store.

Scroll down til you see "Use Custom Title", that makes it so u can change ur Custom Title inside of the User CP.

I always did this via the secondary usergroup function.
Main group = no titles
secondary group = can use titles

I just purchased it in the new vbPlaza v1.5.0, and went to the User CP, clicked on Edit Profile and it shows up in there ...

Custom User Title
This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the default title for your usergroup and post count.
Your current user title is
Junior Member Reset
Custom User Title

So either a bug was fixed causing it to not work before, (not likely though as this option hasnt changed in quite some time). Or there is some other setting on ur vBulletin that may not be set. (Most likely.) I'll look into the settings and see if there are any other global settings to 'disable custom user titles for non admins'.

NO, its because he purchased it from the wrong spot. You need to purchase it in the General Permission Options to be able to change it whenever u want.

-CMXProblem solved. I did not realize there were different versions of this.

Change User Title and Can Use Custom User Title.

Can Use Custom User Title was the one I wanted.

Awesome support as always. Even for idiots!

Its all good, thanx for helping with the bug testing/problems of the new vbPlaza.

At this rate, it will be bugfree and ready for release today or tomorrow to the masses!
