Hello,

I am working on a little harddrive script, but i have one problem, when i try to comp files, i need to have their full path (C:/windows/system32/*.dll)

What i am trying to do is get the entire contents of system32 + any of the subfolders... like C:/windows/system32/DirectX/*.dll (Reminder: I am using these paths as an example, im not really editing the task manager :P)

This is what i have so far:

<?php
// Remove Time Limit
set_time_limit(0);

//Define Folder Location
$current = dir('C:/windows/system32');
//Define Backup Folder Location
$drive = dir('X:/windows/');

// Get all of the files in $current
while (false !== ($entry = $current->read()))
{
if ( $entry == "." or $entry == "..")
{}
else
{
//echo realpath
}
}
?>

Now, what i need to do is add the full path of (byEVERY file, in system 32, (By EVERY i mean EVERY), to an array so this should be an example of what it will look like:

C:/windows/system32/RMBin/*.*
C:/windows/system32/3com_dmi/*.*
C:/windows/system32/1025/*.*
...
C:/windows/system32/$winnt$.inf
C:/windows/system32/6to4svc.dll
C:/windows/system32/12520437.cpx
C:/windows/system32/12520850.cpx
C:/windows/system32/a3d.dll
C:/windows/system32/a15.tbl
C:/windows/system32/a234.tbl
...

and so on, and yes, there are deffinatly more than 7 files in the system32 folder :P i dident want to drag on with it... So i hope you understand what im doing, adding the full path of EVERY file + folder inside of a specified drive/folder

EDIT:

I dont mind using one or more commands to do it, im adventually going to make it into a really simple function

the following php functions may help..
getcwd()

$opendir = @opendir($dir);
while (false !== ($file = readdir($opendir)))
{
echo "$file\n";
}
closedir($opendir);

Isent that exactly what i have? and the php file, is not in the directory that im reading

...

Well, its like going into the command prompt, and typing 'tree [directory]' it lists all files and directors in that folder... thats what i want, except to add the full path of every file to an array ;)
