I am planning on having a large autograph request address list on my site, I have designed my database the way I want it, the problem is that I am not sure if I should put it with my vbulletin database or keep it seperate. I only have 50 mb of space for each database. I have 50 databases though. So I am not sure if I will run out of space anytime soon. Also I want to make sure that I will never lose any infomraiotn when installing a hack, while I am pretty sure a hack would not conflict with the my table names, I am just afraid that I might lose all my work. Any suggestions on how I should do it ?

If the size of each database is limited to 50Mb (which could quickly become not enough for just vB, depending on your settings and how much posted etc.), i would seperate them.
PS Looking for a new host might be a better solution.

sorry it isn't 50 mb, it is 100 mbs, do you still recommend doing them seperate? How much sizewise should I expect my database to be?

Yes advise would be the same.
Sorry but without more info on your site (#members, #posts, content of post (short/long/images), storage method attachmebts/avatars/etc. (database or filesystem), etc..) i can not give you an answer.

100mb is still not much
for example vbulletin.org has over 1.5 GB db size and still growing, and there are larger boards around...

Thanks for your help. It is weird that they give me 50 dbs with 100 mbs each, instead of giving me like 5 larger ones.
