Hello
Ive made a little chat just for practise and now i want to integrate it with vbulletin also just for practice..
Any tutorials out there to help me do this?
heres my code
<?php
$username="?";
$password="?";
$database="?";
$message=$_POST['message'];
mysql_connect(localhost,$username,$password);
@mysql_select_db($database) or die('Unable to connect');
$query = "INSERT INTO chat VALUES ('$message')";
mysql_query($query);
$query2="SELECT * FROM chat";
$result=mysql_query($query2);
$num=mysql_numrows($result);
mysql_close();
echo "<b><center>Chat history</center></b><br><br>";
$i=0;
while ($i < $num) {
$message=mysql_result($result,$i,"message");
echo "<b>Message: $message</b><br />";
$i++;
}
?>
<form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="[removed by me]">
<label></label>
<div align="center">
<label>
<input name="message" type="text" id="message" size="100" />
</label>
<label></label>
<label>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit" />
</label>
</div>
</form>
okay ive figured it out now and i have intergrated it with the style.
its a little chatroom/shoutbox but when i submit a message it does not submit
ive made all the tables and have double checked everything...
ive also checked the form.
here is the code
