Before vB v4.1.4 I was using this modification. Now I uninstalled it, but there still remains it's icon in the editor (there is no custom BB code on this page http://example.com/admincp/bbcode.php?do=modify right now, which is weird)

Does anyone know how to disable the ckeditor tables function or modify this to fix excel problems?

If I turn off the [table] bbcode feature, tables insert by Excel work fine. When I turn on this [table] bbcode however I get the following when pasting Excel content:

went from 3.8 to 4.1.5. Had to uninstall this. For some reason I can't even view the previous table text in the editor, only the database.

Update: reinstalled this so I at least have my tables back. Of course now the new editor tables do not work.

Curious if anyone has figured out a solution to have new and old co-exist without going back and redoing all of the old tables.

Hi all.

A time ago we have a problem with the links inside the table. With more than 3 links (in red) an error of blank page appears "forbidden" and we don't know which is the problem here, if is the bbcode table or the forum itself. This has appeared recently and now we cannot edit the tables with more than 3 links inside the table. Very confused... :confused:

Any sugestion?

If you use the built-in editor, you will see 3 icons in the left bottom row of the toolbars for table, table properties, and delete table (see attached image). You can use those or manually enter the codes.

Yes working, but cell height is not good.Old code seems to be good, but latest modified one is not good.

i'm having a problem with the settings not saving properly with this mod. example: auto num, sortable, etc... anyone have that problem and/or figured out how to always have everything enabled? anyone please respond on where the settings for these is kept and how to modify them via code. thanks much.

yeah, my problem is that for some odd reason those bit settings aren't saving properly. every time i check those settings, they all go to blank after save. just wondering if there's some kind of work around for this. i've removed and reinstalled many times, after install some stuff is check. but soon as i modify one setting, then click save, all of them gets unchecked and none of them can be re-saved enabled again. weird...

vB 4.2 comes with its own [table] BBcode. I suggest you use that instead as this mod will conflict as it did with my forum.

I have been using this hack in 3.8 and I am not very thrilled of abandining it and using the vB tables implementation.

I was thinking, if it would be possible for this, to be edited in such a way, as not to conflct with the vB code.

So far, I've tried it in 4.2.2 but it has some problems with the table heads. I was able to resolve it in a more or less acceptable way, but it would be great if we could have this hack work, together with vB's childish implementation.

IDK if it because it dont work to vBulletin 5.1.4 or if it something in the file but when i try to add product-bbcode_table-multi.xml then i get

Tried installing it with 3.8.9. Got an error msg when installing the language XML file, saying it had been done with an earlier version.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is there a way to modify the tooltip for this icon to provide a bit more explanation of the code?

I'd like to include this in the tooltip:

Unfortunately all custom bbcode uses the phrase Wrap [{1}] tags around selected text
Editing that will change all "atl" for custom bbcode to what ever you change it to and I can not find where to change it in the plugin for the table bbcode itself.

You could remove the image url from the table bbcode and manually edit the editor_toolbar_on template and add the code to show the table.gif, adding the "alt" text you want.

Not sure if it'll work with 4.25 but I had problems with 3.8.11 and PHP 7.1

You could try changing the following:

Product -> vBCode table
Hook -> bbcode_create
Title -> parse vBcode table

Change near the top, around line 10:
$table_content = ''; #(exploded) table content
To
$table_content = array(); #(exploded) table content

Couple of lines down change:
$bbcode_table = '';
to
$bbcode_table = array();


Search for #BODY (it's about half way down)
Change:
$table_rows = '';
To:
$table_rows = array();
