View Full Version : Can't Warn Users - Permission error?

I installed AWS and now when I try to warn someone I get the error message

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Is there something I forgot to update?

Info:
vBulletin v3.5.3

I have followed all the steps in the readme.txt and in
warn_notes_update_instructions(2).txt

Which version of AWS did you install? There are two versions, are you sure you installed the one, for vB 3.5.x?

The proper version for vB 3.5.x can be found here:

I have vb 3.5.4, and did an upgrade, and get this error:

An error has occured, the following message has been left below: :

You have no permissions to issue warnings

And, um, I am the Admin :P lol...

There is another thread and another hack for vB 3.5.x. Check that out here:
