As requested here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=105834).

This forces all users to preview new threads and replies before being able to submit them.

Templates to edit: newpost_preview, newthread, newreply.

Instructions are located in the attached file.

I've not done screenshots as I have a live demo that you can use to test this. Guests can post in the welcome room. (I know the style is very messed up there but it is my testing stuff style and gets rather messy before the periodic total style revert.)

Demo Link - http://www.peterska2.co.uk/index.php?styleid=71

If you use this please click https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/vborg_miscactions.php?do=installhack&threadid=105847) My time is limited and so support will only be given to those who have clicked install.

Important information regarding support - 20/04/06
Due to time constraints and the amount of things that are being planned for future modifications, priority support will now be provided here (http://www.peterska2.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19209). Support provided in this thread will be on an as and when basis.

Thanks!

But if one only does Step 1 & 3, people will be able to make replies in threads without been required to click preview, correct?

Yes, Step Two controls replies and Step Three controls new threads, so it can be tweaked in that matter to however you want it to work for your individual needs.

Is there any way to make this not change how PMs are done?

In my instructions there is nothing there which affects PM's. I've just tested it with new PM's and replies and it doesn't affect them.

Weird, maybe I just looked too skimpily at it.

Thanks for the support.

It does not look like this is working with 3.6.0, though it did with 3.5.6

The submit button somehow does nothing when clicked.

PS This feature should be standard in vB. Forces people to edit typos and make the messages more understandable and clean

I agree, and it could also help reduce SPAM as well...

Ref: "As for spam, one of the quickest ways to significantly reduce (if not eliminate) spam is to require "preview" of all comments before final submital. Spambots don't generally handle preview buttons well." taken from http://forums.asmallorange.com/index.php?showtopic=5970

Just looking for a version that will work with vB 3.6 ;)

Does this work in VB4?

Probably not as the templates have changed. No plans to update it either as I don't have a vb4 licence.
