Mac OS X: Full Release

Have an Apple related site? Have forums for Mac OS X? Then here is a style that is sure to beef up your traffic!

If you want the style to look like the original, install these following hacks on your board, and just ignore the templates that the hacks tell you to edit, I've already added the code to the templates myself.

Getting user avatars to show up on the forum home:

Open up global.php

(Make sure when placing this in global.php that you place it above $header)

The code is already added where it should be on the forum home

If your site is Apple related, you can use this style without worry. However I would advise against using it for any other focus other then Apple. They don't take kindly to that sort of thing.

Couple of questions for you though:
1. Why did you hardcode all the image references in the templates ?
2. vbstats image references mainly pointed .png files (rather than the standard .gif) - did you re-do some of these on your site ?

I got that sorted ok
(as well as the hard coding)

I have installed all the recommended hacks
And now have a couple of questions :

1. What does this do ? - forumupdates.php
And can I please get a copy of that file

2. I installed the whos been online today hack
And it doesnt center and <<-- -->> the title like at your site
How would I go about fixing this ?

Also, when I visited your site, I noticed there are 2 different figures for most users online
Is that meant to happen ?

That's a default configuration. The "Current Users Online" is built into vB, the "Most Online Today" is an extra hack, I guess the author wanted to include the same thing.

This is directly from my board, there is no version without hacks. If you don't want any hacks then simply remove or replace the hack displays.

Yeah im using both Current USers Online and Most Online today as well.
Thing I thought was odd was the figure for most users online being different at your site (they are the same for me)

Any ideas on how to correct the formatting of it though ?

In the style, there is a template that is "forumhome_shoutbox".
The template need to install the hack "vB Shoutbox 1.0".
so... I think you are maybe negligence.

Yeah, forgot to remove that. Although I could never really get the shoutbox to look right on my style, so I removed it.
