Mini Mods - RoG's Xbox Live Avatar in Posts

Okay this is my first release. for postbit legacy

Screenshot at the bottom.....

Create a new profile field or use an existing one for xbox live gamertag.

First step, you may have already done this.

In Postbit.css find

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:both;
}

and replace with

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:none;
}

Second Step.

In postbit.css

find

.postbitlegacy .signature, .postbitlegacy .lastedited {

underneath that code you will find

margin-top: ?em;

replace that number with 17, so it will look like this.

margin-top: 17em;

Step Three

Now go to the postbit_legacy and find

{vb:raw template_hook.postbit_messagearea_start}

add after

<vb:if condition="$post['fieldx']"><img src="http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/{vb:raw post.fieldx}/avatar-body.png" align="right" width="150" height="300"/></vb:if>

Replace the x with xbox live profile field number.

Thats it

Your doing something wrong then. I just added it to my xbox360clans.net site, example post, after reading your post to try and help you. It works fine for me.

You don't need the other plugins/template edits/mods for this to work. You just need a Profile Field for the Xbox LIVE Gamertag, and the 3 red X's in this template edit to be that #.

Are you sure all the red X's are edited to reflect your profile field #?

Only the two that I've found in the code. Well it's working fine anyways so I'll just leave it be.

Ok I found the code and I followed every thing step by step changed the field number looked every thing over and I still don't see my avatar

For some reason it's disappeared? How come?

Worked. Its showing my avatar......

The only issue is there is a giant gap between my content and signature. Any fix for this? I included a screen capture in my attachment.

Help.

EDIT: Okay never mind I found the problem. Everything looks good now. I'll report back if any surprises show up.
