Download the product-itemstats.xml, vb_itemstats.php and 'itemstats_1.2.zip'.
Unzip itemstats_1.2.zip to your forum-root (ie http://your.site.tld/forum/itemstats), and follow the basic setup instructions in doc/config.txt.
Copy vb_itemstats.php into your itemstats-folder.
Paste the following two lines into the bottom of your headinclude-template
Lastly, upload the product-itemstats.xml into your product manager, and you should be all set.
Link items with [item]Item name[/item].
The first time the item is loaded might take some time, as it fetches info from allakhazam.com. From then on it will be cached in the database, and should load instantly.

Did you empty the trash after applying the fix? see post #40 which has a screenshot on this.
Also some folks have it working with vbadvanced, a few posted here. See post #21 about using absolute paths to resolve that.
Yes, I've emptied the trash (even created a completely new database to test it on) but in both cases the error remains.
About vbAdvanced; I've used absolute paths, and that doesn't seem to function either.
I'm going to reinstall vBulletin on my test server tonight, starting from scratch with all the changes posted in this thread installed/added before actually starting to use the plugin and see if that helps.
Cant help but notice this version hides the allakhazam notice. :disappointed: Other then that I love this for my guilds forums. It does seem bulky and I think it can be cleaned up a lot looking at the code, at least so it makes 1 sql queue per item rather then 4. I sent off an email to the original creator asking if it was ok if I could release a slimed down version.

I hope you can. I'm not good enough at changing/writing scripts like this unfortunatly, otherwise I would have done the same I think.
<font face="Verdana">Ok, so I got it working mostly now. But I'm still encountering 2 problems with this mod. First is that, after editing a post already containing the item code with the WYSIWYG editor, the </span> code is added to the links and then links no longer function after this. Also, when the item's name has a ' in the name, the picture isn't loaded. A screenshot below of the </span> issue and what happens when pressing the edit button.</font>
I've encountered the same problem. But, I fixed this by changing the path in the config.php from the itemstats mod to my local icons directory I also use for my guild roster from www.wowprofilers.com . After you've changed the path to you images, you do need to empty the itemstats table in the database.

Any news about this problem?
I have the same error after i edit a post.
Hope anyone can help me.
It's not possible to fix this issue expect if you edit the process of getting the message back from db and replace it with [item]Item name[/item]... i don't know if it's possible ... atm i have to rework on my site and will leave this problem unfixed till get done with the rest site
Hi.
I have a little problem with that mod. I did everything like you suggested in this topic (installing a "fix" etc.) but I still can't make it work. It look like attached jpg now.
