As promised I have ported over my popular Black and Gold style from vB 3.0.X to vB 3.5 and I have also made some minor changes to it. I received a lot of requests to apply the category spacing modification to the old version; however, due to time constraints I was never able to get that completed but have included it with this release (If you would like a version without this please let me know and I can release it as well.) I also modified a few of the images but the majority of them remain the same as in the previous version.

As always please let me know of any issues with the style - I tested it pretty thoroughly and wasn't able to find anything out of place but I have missed things before.

Update 3/05/2006 Version 1.50

* Current users need just revert the two templates that changed since 3.5.1.

Update 10/24/2005 Version 1.30
* Added new IM icons created by Lecter - No changes made to the XML file.

Update 10/08/2005 Version 1.20

* Modified "forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost" template.

Sorry for not responding to you about that - I checked the source files for my style and the images/misc directory from a fresh vBulletin 3.5.0 installation and those images don't exist in either one. I would try removing and reinstalling the style and see if that fixes the problem - Otherwise I'm at a complete loss as to why it would be looking for those images unless they are for a hack or mod you've installed.

I'm not totally following.
I'm in there now, do I just change a #? Or do I have to add a whole new line (which I don't know how to do)

I think I was wrong about the width thing because nothing is really added when someone logs out.
It just appears that the forum is too large to fit so it is knocked down below the blocks on the left.

Can you PM me the link to your forums - It's really hard to diagnose a problem like this without being able to see it first hand. Odds are if I can see the problem I can rework a template that should work for you.

I have tried to install this style, and I believe I missed a step somewhere. I uploaded the images folder to my forum directory, then uploaded the xtml. I made the style active, but when I try to use my style dropdown selector in the forums themselves, it gives me an error. It doesn't even try to load the style. the icon on the bottom left in the status bar in IE has the "!" that is synonomous with microsoft errors. When I double click it I get an error message. See the thumbnail below. Did miss a step somewhere?

As you have already said, you installed it on a fresh vbb3.5 and you do not see the images either. I have several other styles installed and they are not giving me that problem.

Are you saying that your style does not use these images?
Can you give me a website that is actually using this style? Let me see how it looks there?

I got it figured out. I reread the entire thread and found i needed to change the targets for the images.

I don't know of any styles that use those images including the vBulletin default style. Unfortunately I am using one of my clients dev boards for workling on my styles until I can renew my license and download 3.5 - Because of that I can't link you to my working copy. However, with 80+ installs I am sure someone here has a working version that you could take a look at.
