i got this idea from a diff hack i made (attachment list)
and the 1st one i made was just one where you added and deleted file

and then people gave me an idea to add category's
and they are in this version,

Please let me know when it's up, I have 1000s of downloads on my site, and having just a forum attachment link isn't very good :P

Two things:

First - can you at least make it so that every user can use it, or just admins? defeats my purpose if i have to still upload everything (usergroups is best, but understand if it wont make it in this release)

2 - in the instructions, you have "put downloads folder in forum root" i had to put it in my admin folder to get uploads to work.

all users can download
i need to get the usergroups only code
its diff to vB3...and this will have better install manual...and the downloads will work in the root dir of vB
im off to work on it more..

by all users can use it i meant upload as well. my main thing im going to be using this for is a site where people can add their programs to a database then they can be searched through. At any rate, glad to see you're still working on it, it's looking good. appreciate the work
