Hello!

I want to run a contest on my site and winners would be determined by the # of posts they make. I was wondering if anyone has created a hack that could do this by being able to determine the start and end date of contest and then list the post standings by users. Then having a way to turn this option off when you do not have a contest running on the boards.

Well, the only other thing I can think of is an integration of tubedoggs posts per day profile hack
ie: 2.5 posts per day

It doesn't have to look like the memberlist, just contain a few of the functions

online status, search for posts, email, pm, starsAll of those would be great!

I will try to start on it soon... but don't know when I will get it done.. been working on some other stuff for a long while now

finally got my vB Upload Script done.. so having a few people test the instructions and fix any errors.. then will release that

After that... then I will start on this, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.. but putting those couple of hours together is a pain

Well unless I do it at work, hehe

I am still cleaning up my instructions for installation of vB Photo Upload.. then gotta a few other things to play with.. but I work slowly work on this.

It is just to nice outside and I have to much stuff to do out there to be inside coding.. or sitting behind the computer

I am at work.. hmm maybe I should just bring the work here... lol but I can't test it, I can code it and test it later when I get home.. hehe

You know what would be cool.. and I am not sure if this is possible.
Have a drop down box where you can slect the top poster for this month, today, the past 3 months, top posters of all time..

Just saw your post on this contest thing... about 1 month to late.

I have a program where I can enter in the dates to start and end, and the threads I would like to subtract.

We are having a contest where the first 15 posters to 500 get a $100 betting account. We have other contests on the site and didn't want any posts in those threads to be included so any posts in those threads will not count towards their 500 posts.

It looks pretty much the same... the html code alterations... and if has it set for just certain forums.. or parts then there is a bit more code in it..
