Mini Mods - RoG's Xbox Live Avatar in Posts

Okay this is my first release. for postbit legacy

Screenshot at the bottom.....

Create a new profile field or use an existing one for xbox live gamertag.

First step, you may have already done this.

In Postbit.css find

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:both;
}

and replace with

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:none;
}

Second Step.

In postbit.css

find

.postbitlegacy .signature, .postbitlegacy .lastedited {

underneath that code you will find

margin-top: ?em;

replace that number with 17, so it will look like this.

margin-top: 17em;

Step Three

Now go to the postbit_legacy and find

{vb:raw template_hook.postbit_messagearea_start}

add after

<vb:if condition="$post['fieldx']"><img src="http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/{vb:raw post.fieldx}/avatar-body.png" align="right" width="150" height="300"/></vb:if>

Replace the x with xbox live profile field number.

Thats it

i have 4.1.12 and i can not find the code that needs to be edited any ideas why,marccap,your forums look great

All the codes should be where they are stated at the start of this thread. Try searching in "search templates" for the code or part of the code to find it.

found it ,made the changes but the avatars are not showing up,i use profile field 5 for my xbox live gamer card,can i use this profile field for the avatar or do i need to make another profile field

Should be all in one field - Double check all the coding or search "fieldX" to make sure the fields have been completed

I've done this and this code https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ight=gamercard and the other one to add it to your profile and it's only showing in people's profile when you click their name.. I'm using the same profile field for all three and it's not showing in the postbit on the posts nor is the avatar showing in the right hand side and I've done everything step by step.

I'm using 4.2
