Miscellaneous Hacks - Sidebar Column

Description:
This MOD automatically create a sidebar column on the left or right in your forum.

Features:

• Show only Index or All Pages.
• Choose StyleID, which you want to use for the sidebar.
• User Infomation with Avatar
• Latest Threads
• Poll
• Advertisement
• Partner Links

Install:

1. Import Product via Manage Products
ACP >> Plugins & Products >> Manage Products >> [Add/Import Product]

Settings:
ACP >> vBulletin Options >> Sidebar Column Settings

History:
v3.8.001 : First Release
v3.8.002 : Add Option for StyleID

Hi

1. Can we have "x" number of boxes on top and after "Partner Links" with option to key box title in Admin CP / Side Columns?

So that we can put a notice on the top of the side column before user statistics and some ads for various users after partner links.

2. Can we also have some boxes called Featured Ads or Featured Threads (box title changeable at Admin CP / Side Columns) and these boxes can extract the threads from a particular forum selectable at Admin CP / Side Columns?

It will be a great improvement and be mod of the month.

What changes in the code between the index or on all pages? If I put in all the pages shown in the column footer and not in the right.

Hi there, Is it possible to add and display an external RSS feed into this side column.

If so can you provide how to do this. I am trying to pulling in my feed with a small thumbnail and title underneath it.

Hi again, I must say this is a very useful mod. My question is that I would like to have multiple forum content in the right column but wish to separate them in different chunks with different headings.

Is there a way to replicate the: ForumID. section and number of posts repeatedly in that column and set different ID's and diffent numbers of threads (date or lastpost order) for each one?

Great one. Been searching for this.
Just a question. We installed it on our board but when I chose the main skin of our board, I don't see this side bar but when I chose the default vB skin, I do see it.
Is there anything I am making mistake of? Thanks in advance.

This is a great mod and I've been tailoring it to fit my site. I have it just the way I want it but, I can't find "<br />" that's being generated at the top of the column. Could you point me to where it is in the code?
