Automatic Thread Closing · **Released**: 05-24-2007

A new version is available from here. It is 3.7 but also works with 3.6 (and probably 3.8).

Hello guys this is my first mod!

Features:

Forum immunity
Option to close sticky threads or not
Enable/disable hack
Set timelimit
All settings can be set in ACP
Option to close thread after X amount of thread

Why?
I was getting tired of all those people necro-posting, posting in threads that are up to three years old. This is my solution

Time to install:
Less than one minute

History:
1.00 release
1.10 threadbit display closed
1.20 all settings through ACP
1.30 close thread after reply-count
1.40 bugfix
1.50 dunno what I did
1.60 added the feature to select whether you want the list of forum ids to either be the forums which's threads that should not be closed or the forums which's threads that should be closed

After billions of requests, I have finally done what you did!

Don't forget to click Mark as Installed!

I've upgraded to the latest version, adjusted the settings, tried yes and no under "Exclude?" and neither works... threads are now staying open where they should be closed.

Are you sure that you have turned it on at the top?

If I select "NO" in "exclude" option and listed the forums below, the hack doesn?t work. (With comma

If I select "YES" in "exclude" option and listed the forums below, the hack close all the threads.

Same problem I posted about above, I had to stop using it, I removed it.

very nice job,
can you add an option :
(Include forums) in addition to the existing one (Exclude forums) ?

Because I want to enable the hack only for few forums but not the big list (others),,

Being able to exclude while include does not make sense. Either choose to include OR exclude.

I suggest to put two radio buttons (Include OR Exclude forums) so as I sayed it will be easier to list the few forums I want to include (or someone need to exclude) than listing the big list.

I hope it is clear.

Yes = exclude
No = include
